In The Hanging Garden
Great concept with small bars and food offerings throughout. The open space area is great to enjoy a few drinks and small bites, with comfortable seating. Good cocktails from the various vendors and plenty of beer offerings at the bar. It was quite cool on the day we were there, so nice they had the heaters on. Great way to spend an afternoon.

In The Hanging Garden
This was a short stop for our group after the markets & before heading out of the city, but it could’ve gone a lot longer! The atmosphere is so lovely with the hanging plants everywhere; the food was yummy; & the drinks were super refreshing. There wasn’t any live entertainment but I’d love to experience that sometime because it looked like a really good area for it beneath the bar & restaurant. I will definitely keep me this on my list for next time. X

Went here for a few drinks on Friday evening. It was a bit quiet when we got there. The bar staff were lovely. I haven't rated the food because I didn't have any. While the vibe was a little younger than I'm used to these days, it was still a very affordable and enjoyable evening!

Such unique venue, you wouldn't believe how much room or spaces there are from the street. Fantastic food & beverages with many bars to choose from. Live music & great atmosphere

The best coffee sans Two Folk Espresso Cafe. A visual feast by day, a spectacular vista by night. Place is HUGE and contemporary, complete with bell tower & fire pit. Evening lights are spectacular, DJ, cocktails, smoking area, 8’ heaters everywhere but it’s cold in Winter being open planned over split levels.Fantastic with a bevy of friends.

Great bar / restaurant precinct in the heart of hobart. Only came for drinks but is such a beautiful setting under the hanging garden. Would highly recommended to visit. Great for a relaxing afternoon with a few beers.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff!Tables can be reserved in advance for big groups and meals can be purchased for under $20 here. There are some Vegan meal options and many Gluten Free meal options available.Please note that this is a cashless venue so if you want to buy food and/or drink(s) then make sure you have sufficient funds in your account for EFTPOS payments!They have three hospitality areas on-site. On the main level (Murray Street entrance) there is both a food and drink counter (menu as shown in the above pictures) as well as another counter serving hot drinks. This area is partially sheltered with tables, seating and many plants.Downstairs (aka 'The Cathedral') there is the third hospitality area serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. This area is fully sheltered and has even more plants, plus more tables and seating. There is also a stage here as this area doubles as an event space. Accessible entry to this downstairs area is via an alleyway near 153 Liverpool St, Hobart TAS 7000.

Stumbled upon this place from the street as it looked so inviting. A beautiful beer (and cocktail) garden offering food as well. I had the vegan funghi pizza which was delicious. A super cozy place if you need a refresher while out in Hobart center.
