Beautiful natural attraction. Great place for kayaking and walking through the dunes. Beautiful birds, we watched an Australian Hobby(?) catch it's own fish and then a crow came in to try to take the catch. Keep eye and ears open for AVT and 4wds that can get to this area. Please please please leave nothing behind except ur footprints, it has been really upsetting seeing how much people leave behind.

Hot summer day. Awesome time at surfing the dunes, water slide hospitality by Cooky and the kayaking. Wholesome family entertainment about an hour from Perth.

the sand dunes seemed unused and overgrown. water level had receded a few meters beyond the jetty. fishing was enjoyable, Bream were biting and the native flora was in bloom. lovely

About 4km from Barragoon Rd boat ramp or 2km from the Estuary. Our favourite stopping place before continuing on our kayak journey to the river mouth. Fantastic photo op. Magnificent view from the top. The climb up is worth it. And the run down brings out your inner child lol. For the more youthful bring a sliding mat and yes you can go all the way into the water !

Lots of fun for the kids and adults! Highly recommend visiting the sand dunes for some good old-fashioned fun.

Nice peaceful cruise up the river, great for small boats and kayaks. Stop on the river bank or sand dunes for a picnic and some sand boarding. Great for swimming.

Nothing better than taking the dinghy to Moore River for a day with the kids. We pack a picnic and head up river on the boat and find a spot for the day. Spend the day stand up paddle boarding, skurfing and relaxing!The paid parking is annoying and the lack of cafe/ shop when we went wasn't great!
