The Feltex Okiwi Bay carpeting is a super product and the staff at the Palmerston North branch of Flooring Design did an excellent job and provided superb service on short notice to get the old carpet uplifted and new carpeting installed at our house between settlement date and the furniture delivery date (a span of 1 week!!).Sharon was excellent at explaining the various product line pros and cons (and providing a discount).Pam went to the house and did the measurement outside of hours and made sure the rushed order was available over the weekend.Tracy and her husband spent their weekend do the uplifting personally when carpet installers were fully booked.And Jessie did an outstanding job of installing the underlay and carpeting late into the night on 2 days.My wife and I highly recommend Carpet King in Palmy for a superior product and great staff!!!!!!Jono and Ati

Tracy was AMAZING! She is super friendly and knows what she’s talking about. She was so insightful about the different types of flooring and carpet. And unlike every other carpet store we visited, she actually stayed within our budget and we have the flooring and carpet of our dreams. She even included three little stuffed lambs for our three children. She went above and beyond and delivered our flooring to us on a public holiday. And the carpet installer was lightning fast, installing the carpeting in a day and a half. He did a great job! 10/10 recommend. These are the nicest people who do the best job for the lowest price. A love them long time customer , in more recent years with full silver service - the team go out of their way to keep you happy, spending time to get it right, providing recommendations and options . transparent pricing is a welcome point of difference, particularly with the construction sector being as crazy as it is right now. Like a bad smell, I will most definitely be lingering

We had a really great experience with the team at Flooring Design Palmerston North. They were great to work with, from the initial measure up through to installation, and really quick to address any issues. Excellent quality range at a reasonable price and really tidy installation giving a fantastic finished look. My partner and I were over the moon with the work done, it was so easy to organize and the staff were very helpful with picking the colour to match the rest of the house and also the type of carpet to suit our lifestyle (having dogs). I will definitely be back when needing flooring in the future
