Walked to the western end of the main street ,and came across Trotters Lane. Welcomed by the owner and served up a tasty flat white with oat milk. This balanced well with the homemade almond orange cake and a dollop of creamTook a wander through the other rooms connected to the tea rooms and found lovely plants,fresh flowers,children’s clothing,books and scarves.Customer service done right and food to match

Casual walk in shop with cafe, ornaments, child area and florist. The cafe display is very underwhelming but if all you want is a coffee and scone with jam and clotted cream, all home-made and delicious, then this is the place to go. Very friendly and helpful owner too

Trotters Lane Robertson
We popped into this gorgeous cafe/florist/ home and gardenware shop to try the coffee and were immediately taken with the welcoming atmosphere. Julie, the owner, was friendly and greeted us with geniune warmth. The coffee was amazing as was the delicious orange and almond cake. We're told that the scones, cream and homemade jam are also very popular. After a lovely morning tea I walked out with a beautiful bunch of flowers, home-grown and home-made orange marmalade and award winning cucumber pickles (and most probably an extra cm or 2 to my waist line!).Thank you Julie for your hospitality. We'll be back soon!
