Pier One Apartments

Loved this place. Beautiful big rooms with a spa and patio overlooking the beautiful bay. Very well appointed kitchen. The salt water pool was one of the best I've been in.

Great location. Great views. Clean overall except for the floor... no tea towels were provided so had to buy some. No extra garbage bag for our 5 night stay... overall not a bad spot

Stayed here with my husband and 8 month old son for 2 nights and we could not have loved it anymore the people were so lovely and accommodating. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely spot to spend a few nights. The road and foot traffic noise is loud and frequent from early morning to early evening every day, the sound seems to echo off the building/s.The sunrise & sunset from the 3rd floor where we stayed in an Airbnb was quite spectacular. You can see the jetty to the right where the sun rises in the morning and to the left behind the rock wall where it sets in the evening.The apartment we stayed in wasn't overly modern and the stange layout of the main bedroom meant we only had a queen bed.The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were thin. The aircon is on a timer & works for 2 hours at a time and set to 20° low and 24° high and it can't be adjusted as it's locked.The lounge room TV wasn't a smart TV although it did have a chrome cast if you want/can cast your phone/device to the TV for Netflix etc.All in all we probably wouldn't stay here again as it's very much over priced for what we would rate as 3.5-4 star accommodation.

Disappointed for the price. Room was large with lovely views however the upkeep was average. Mat in living area was very dirty. No dishwashing liquid, clock needed battery, no bread knife or steak knives. Lamps are all a little temperamental. Vertical blinds dodgy, hard to open and close. Shower in ensuite, shower head needs a clean, just dribbles water. It's the little things that you expect to be working and clean.Most likely would not stay here again

Great place to stay. Nice clean rooms

Pier One is our first choice stay and have stayed many times. Probably the best units in the bay, walking distance to everything you will need. Walk on the pier, swim in the pool or out the front and cafes to suit every taste. Very relaxing, extremely friendly management, continental breakfast included, private parking and the view is perfect. The management will book us into Oaks Resort when Pier One is unavailable, good but second best.

The reception was rude we stayed in apartment 14 it was not clean we spent the first day cleaning to enjoy a better standard for our holiday and then accused of causing damage to the kitchen bench that we know we definitely did not do withholding our deposit with this false claim. Also accused of using a half bag of ice that was in the freezer. We always treat any holiday apartment as we do our home this apartment owner Margie was not a pleasure to deal with.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with a fantastic view. The bed was the first comfortable one our backs had seen after a week of traveling. I found the management to be helpful, friendly and down to earth. Having two small children, I really appreciated having the continental breakfast in the fridge waiting for us. I highly recommend this place, and would love to come back for a longer stay sometime.
