Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the agents Peter. I was renting a place in Bulleen and Peter attempted to blame me for problems with the house that had nothing to do with me.The first time, Peter was having a private email conversation with my housemate about providing heating in the main lounge. Peter suddenly added me to their chat asking to speak to us both. In the meeting he started accusing my partner’s visits as being the reason that the electricity bills were high. My housemate chimed in and explained to Peter that the electricity was high because of using excess heaters in the main lounge because no heating was provided and it was freezing. Peter attempted to redirect back to my partner again but my housemate kept pushing Peter to provide heating so he would not need to rely on energy consuming electric heaters.About a week later Peter confirmed that it was their responsibility to provide heating in the lounge, however he added that it was I who had personally asked the owner of the house not to add heating there, which was completely false. When I asked him to clarify where he got the information and amend his statement he ignored me. I’m fortunate that my housemate knows me well enough to know I wouldn’t do that otherwise it could have caused issues between us as tenants because he had been fighting for almost a year to get heating in that lounge.I don’t know if he was trying to save himself from blame in case my housemate filed a complaint with VCAT but it was unprofessional and unwarranted. I had never made complaints so perhaps he thought I’d keep quiet when he tried to pin things on me?It was all very strange and made me very uncomfortable. Would advise making sure to know another agent to contact at the agency just in case something like this happens.

Worst experience ever! I wish I could give 0 starts. I rented through them for a year and agents changed twice within 12 months with no updates. after 10 months of living in the property I was given a 60 days notice to vacate dated 5 days before my lease ends. When I contacted consumer affairs I was told that it was not possible I raised with my agent Peter Daicos who issued a new notice to vacate which allowed me further time to stay. I was told it was a mistake" and even though I was within my rights to stay until the date mentioned in the notice to vacate I was told they expect me move out earlier to accommodate the landlords needs.I expressed that I have been unemployed for months prior and it was a challenging time. Peter called me made threats try to intimidate me to move out. I was told if I don't move out two weeks earlier than my notice to vacate I'd be responsible for landlord being homeless. His demeanour was disrespectful and was not able to show any empathy. He was constantly harassing me as he was afraid I will not move out. Not only I was stressed about being homeless I was constantly blamed and shamed by the agent which was detrimental to my mental health. Be careful and do not tolerate this behaviour!"

Exceptional service. We can’t rate Langwell Harper highly enough. Our property manager has responded promptly to any repair requests and had personally came out on a weekend to resolve an issue with our alarm system. We’ve felt listened to and treated with dignity, which is a very rare experience for renters. Every interaction with the team at Langwell Harper has been handled with the highest professionalism. We would highly recommend them.
