Tonight I attended the clinic for my daughter. They had made a mistake with our booking but the receptionist did her best to squeeze us in with another doctor. After waiting more than 20 minutes another receptionist bluntly yelled at my daughter in front of other patients demanding why she did not have a mask.. I told her that she had an exemption and she demanded to see it. I understand that COVID has created many differences, difficulties and much frustration but that does not give any right to treat another person in such a discriminative way. This receptionist was rude and abrupt and embarrassed my daughter . I myself was wearing a mask. It amuses me how people use their power of authority in this way but as I explained to my daughter later, this women who is representing a medical centre has no respect to the people who attend the clinic and is obviously not educated on the subject she has tried to enforce as she not only has no right to ask to see your documents but if she had spoken in a kind matter she would realise that she had it on record at the clinic. People of the clinic PLEASE educate your staff and help them understand that we are all worthy of respect.

Came into the clinic yesterday for a routine blood test and was met by a rude, officious receptionist who asked if I had a mask. I replied that I had a medical exemption. She came out from behind the counter and asked if I could show her. I didn't have it with me, so she marched me right out of the clinic in front of everybody, and told me I had to be outside the door.I think this small minded, mean spirited receptionist should be told that not only is it inappropriate but it is ILLEGAL to make such a request.Perhaps management could inform their staff of the legal boundaries they may not cross, like they do in supermarkets. You do not get to make up your own rules and override the law.

They don't even take people from Eden Park as new patients and waiting list has blown out to a month and receptionist looked like an Anglo-Saxon was very rude to me as well I'm on the Autism Spectrum Disorder I'm medically exempt from wearing a mask you should treat people in the local community with more respect

They do not accept people who are not from Whittlesea…I’m from Kinglake west and the closest to me is this clinic the older lady on the phone was very abrupt and so rude telling me to call somewhere else because it’s “there policy” to only take people from Whittlesea ! -! What a ridiculous policy ! A person can be literally in so much pain and they wouldn’t care. She also told me to just call mernda because she couldn’t help further ? (LOL) mernda is further away from me!The way she spoke to me was extremely rude - very rude phone manner and unprofessional! !!!Mangers need to see who they are hiring and review there staff !

This medical clinic is a joke I called up in need of an urgent appointment and was told you can't make an appointment unless you are an existing patient. How are you supposed to become a patient if you can't make an appointment.

Thorough. Which is what you want. We moved here 2.5 years ago and am really happy with the service. Reception really helpful with rebates. Nurses for bloods, etc. are brilliant and patient with me and my children. Excellent xray and scanning service very close and very fast - usually the same day with minimal wait time.

The super short lady that works at the reception desk was so kind and understanding. I will definitely be coming back with the positive service she provided. Actually made me feel like a human instead of a number.I can’t quite remember her name, I think it might have been Harley? But very lovely.

Receptionist at main phone and Officious Office Manager let this Clinic's reputation down badly.I've been going there for 17 years and will not be diagnosed by a non-medical trained Receptionist, who has been there since I first started attending, providing what she thinks is an adequate treatment for a patient's ailment, as I have heard her do on several occasions, and she is very rude face-to-face.The Office Manager is an Officious little big woman, who is in breach of the Health Department's rules, in relation to mask exemptions with official notification of same, by telling me and others, no mask

This clinic has been performing fantastically during the pandemic.I have personally seen irate, disgruntled, aggressive and almost physically violent “patients” who refused to wear a mask or show vaccination status, and the receptionists and doctors have all handled these matters professionally even when getting yelled at. Sometimes those patients scare me.Muneer saw me for my vaccination, the process was swift, the nurse doing the injections was careful, mindful and respectful when i mentioned my anxieties. The receptionists always do their best to fit me in, or give me the next best time.It shocks me that people come in and are inconsiderate of others medical woes in favor of ignoring government regulations. Its not hard to check in, and it is a legal issue if you dont! The person below me saying it the vax does nothing is so wrong. It kept me out of HOSPITAL when i got sick, i have health issues that, if i wasnt vaxxed and prepared for, covid could have done serious damage to me. And the one even further down saying its illegal to ask for your status, is factually incorrect. What the heck?At my work, i could get fined $10k and shut down if i DONT ask for vax check and mask wearing.I cant imagine how strict it is for a clinic, where people who have canceror are immunocompromised have to sit and wait in a confined building.Medical staff have been seriously given the short end of the stick in the name of helping people. They do a great job, and whittlesea medical clinic in church street is doing just fine.
