Very tasty chicken burgers (tried the schnitzel burger and fried chicken The lot" burger) and great value for money. Not sure why anyone would buy a MacDonald's burger these days. Overpriced and not nearly as good as what I got from Chook and Cooker. Will definitely try them out again!"

Great service always ready in 10 mins guy and I assume his wife are very kind and generous with the servings - legit a small chips is enough for 2 people - prices are more than fair for the quality

My roommate and I ordered from Chook & Cooker using Menulog and had a semi-poor experience. However, I’d blame Menulog for that, and will explain more below. However, the food was really good.We ended up getting a whole Thai chicken to split, a devil wing for myself, and chicken tenders for my roommate. I liked the Thai chicken and my roommate loved it. He also loved his chicken tenders while I was a bit disappointed by my Devil Wing.The whole chicken was well made and was satisfying. However, in my opinion, the Devil Wing did not live up to that same standard.Now, regarding the issues: I originally wanted to leave a review of 3 stars but decided that the fault was on Menulog rather than C&C. 10 minutes after placing my original order, I got a conference call from Menulog and the restaurant because some of the items we originally selected were out of stock and they wanted to help us pick replacements. Okay, that’s fair; restaurants can run out of things. However, this delayed the original 35minute delivery time. Next, 4 minutes before the delivery time shown on the app, the delivery time jumped back another 20 minutes. Therefore, overall, the delivery took twice as long as the estimate. However, once again, I blame Menulog for this issue; I wish the restaurant stock and delivery times were more accurate, as we were very hungry and were looking at the fastest delivery times.Overall, the food was enjoyable. I think I’ll probably eat at the restaurant if I’m ever in the area, but probably won’t order it from Menulog again.

The portugese chicken was really tender and chips so fresh. The chicken burger was absolutely delicious too. Will definitely go back to try other menus.

Honest to god I think it's the tastiest rotissery chicken I've had. I can't believe I was going to the other more popular chicken shop in Annandale all this time. Chook and cooker have more delicious chicken, it's FREE RANGE, the people are nicer, the chips and roast veges are excellent, and it's super cheap. Love it. Hope you stay open through the virus.

The new Portuguese burger on the menu was pretty delicious with a great tangy chilli sauce. The problem only arises because the sauce isn't evenly distributed and the chicken could use more seasoning. The chips are also not great, tasting hard and stale even if they are freshly cooked.

When the lunch time belly beast starts to howl like a pack of wild wolves on a full moon, then I prefer to run down to the merchant of chicken perfection.Juicy, succulant Lilly Free Range Chicken, available fresh daily in traditional BBQ, Portuguese or Thai commodities respectively.Side selections capable of making a grown man weep, healthy pumkin, roast patatos and fried rice, to the classic cheesy cauliflower concoction never to disappoint.All for a $15 box, with half a chook spit roasted any way to your liking daily.I am not suprised this place gets busier then a dog with a bone.
