Salon West

Salon West has looked after the hair of three generations of my family including my parents and their children & grandchildren at one time or another. They do great cuts and colours regardless of a person's age or style. Martin and Craig have been looking after my parent's haircuts for over ten years now. They are always incredibly warm, funny, accommodating and great company. They even make my dad - a quiet, reserved man - laugh. My mum is incredibly frail and Martin goes out of his way to look after her - even coming up to the house on occasions to give her a haircut if she's too ill to visit the salon. But she always tries to get down to the salon because they truly roll out the red carpet to their customers and it gives her such a great experience. I want to thank Salon West for the consistently great and professional service they provide to my parents. They can do my hair any time. I really recommend them.

Excellent service, very reasonable cost.

Been going to Salon West for some time now, they're excellent hairdressers but very annoyed tonight. We haven't been for a few months as no appointment was available when we needed one in April. Not a problem and wasn't concerned but when I telephoned to book for myself, wife and 10 yr old daughter the attitude was pretty cold. I put it down to a bad day.However, when we attended late this afternoon we felt totally unwelcome. In fact we felt we were treated quite rudely. None of the usual friendly chit chat at all, only silence or one word responses at best. Even with our daughter the attitude was short".Unfortunately I don't think we will be going back. We did nothing at all to deserve the attitude."

Martin has been doing my hair and my boys' for years. He's a true professional and I'm always satisfied with my cut and the boys love theirs.

Outstanding hair dressers and wonderful friendly service

I have been seeing Craig & Martin for more years than I care to remember. I really feel like family when I visit and always leave happier than when I walked in. Their friendly chat about things in the news... holiday stories... talking about movies we've seen and just general life makes the appointments go too fast. I have never considered going anywhere else, even though there are many salons between my place and theirs. It just wouldn't be the same! Love them to bits!

Great guys that do your haircuts. Worth going to for the cost. They talk to you while they do their work. Sometimes, they even tell jokes. Worth visiting.
