We have just moved into our new home and are very happy!Shelley was our consultant, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. This was our first time building, and she helped us understand the process and answered all of our many questions.After signing our contract the whole process ran very smoothly and was very stress free.The standard inclusions are great, and quality of finishes is excellent.Would absolutely recommend DQH to anyone looking for a great builder.

On December 2016 we arrived from Melbourne to move into our newly built DQH home in Pelican Waters. Our supervisor was waiting for us to show us how everything works, 2 days later our furniture arrived and also our cars. Today after almost 5 years the house looks, feels and function like when it was brand new.It was difficult to build a house when you are more than a thousand Kms away and still working full time, Shelley Cashmore was our guardian angel, she was always available to answer any questions or give us some important advise on what could go where and also keeping an eye on our budget. I recently built with Dwyer Quality Homes and can say the whole process was great.Scott Humphrey's in the Harmony display was brilliant ever so helpful and did everything possible to go beyond expectations, really made this the dream house.Site Supervisor was Hayden Murray, he made it so easy to visit the house throughout the building process. Hayden was brilliant throughout as we had a few small defects, that were touched up and fixed very effectively.Overall the whole team at Dwyer were great to build with always going above and beyond for there clients, saying this I will definitely consider building with them in the future.Natalya

5 years after getting my house built with Dwyer and im still finding mistakes!!They made us promises that they did not keep, told us what we wanted to hear to get our money!The whole process was a nightmare, trying to get their mistakes fixed was even more of a nightmare.They just kept sending tradies out that have absolutley no idea what they are doing!In the end it was quicker and easier to just hire our own tradies and get the jobs done rite the first time!!If i had my time over i would avoid DQH with all of my power.Please take my advice and find a different builder to build your home because DQH are the furthest thing from quality homes!!Slip slop slapped together houses that take over a year to build more like it.Avoid avoid avoid!!!

It’s now been over 18 months since we first met with Scotty Humphreys, over 12 months since the build began and 6 months since we’ve moved in.We wanted to take some time to get used to our home and let the excitement “die down” before we would sit back, and have a good review of our experience with you guys.This was our 4th house that we had built - all with different builders, and by quite a large margin found you guys to be the best we have experienced.It may have been that you guys are a locally owned company that’s been around for over 30 years, and not a franchise or another construction company trying to take on residential buildings, but the whole process has been very personal with a genuine feel that we have always been listened to - regardless of how painful we may have been at times.When all said and done, we would not have built with DQH if we had not met Scott. This was our own design dream house which we shopped around and spoke to many different local and big builders. Even though we had built before, finding the right company to build our dream home was actually quite scary - who would do what we want and be honest along the way without us thinking they were worrying about their bottom line the whole time.Before we met Scott, there was 3 potential builders we had it narrowed down to - after our first meeting with Scott, we had made up our mind.Scott really made us feel he had our best interests at heart, and the countless hours he put in after work hours and the numerous 40minute drives to our house which felt like he was visiting at least twice a week just to help us achieve what we did - we will forever be thankful. Not only did he work on our plan, he spent time redesigning our plan to give us other ideas to think about - just to make sure we wanted what we were asking for.Looking back now, Scott must have been dreading some of our ideas, though he never let on, rather he looked at it from a practical point of view to see what could be done to make it happen.As we see it, Scott Humphreys is the biggest asset DQH have, and I’m sure there are many other clients out there that feel the same.The end product has been fantastic. We’ve had small issues along the way which have been dealt with accordingly.The whole construction team - Hayden, John and Steve were always been great to work with and any concern has always been dealt with.We would recommend DQH to anyone as we have dealt with some “questionable” builders before, and we know DQH won’t let them down. In fact, one person we have already recommended is working with Scott on their home right now.Lastly, we just want to say thanks to all the team. We have built our dream house and planning on building stage 2!Thanks again and keep up the good work.

I would like to leave a review here that would hopefully help any future home builders! My partner and I reached out to around 10 builders with our dream plan drafted and Scott came back to us in a short amount of time with a fully drawn plan. He made our draft to life and he has been so understanding the whole time, we couldn't have been in better hands. He was responding at any time during the day, even after hours, just to answer my 1 million questions. He is very professional and you will feel so confident to build with him. I would like to thank Scott again for all the hard work he has done for us, and even if we did not go ahead with DQH (financial reasons only), I definitely recommend them in a heart beat!

In July 2020 I finished the build of my home on the Sunshine Coast by Dwyer Quality Homes. I chose Dwyers through a referral from a friend who was very happy with her home. I was impressed with their process, service and delivery of an exceptional product at great value. The process was made easy with advice by the team all the way through from land purchase, design phase to completed product. My build supervisor was always available for questions, the finishes were of a very high standard and the build finished earlier than expected. We bought a sizeable block of land and wanted a large single level home designed. Scotty (Sales Consultant) is absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond whilst designing our house and nothing was ever too much trouble. Professional, superior customer service, creative, efficient and very friendly. Scotty was the main reason we decided to build our dream home with Dwyers. We have also dealt with Maria who assists with selections. Her ideas and customer service has been great. We have just completed handover of our new home and wish to highly recommend Dwyer Quality Homes.Our Sales Consultant was Jonathan Broadbent, who from the outset was professional, helpful and efficient. Customising the design was a breeze, not that it needed any more than a few tweaks.The selection process for colours, fixtures and fittings with Maria was mind-blowing but she is fantastic at her job and it was all done in a few hours.We live 1500 km away which wasn't an issue, apart from not being able to travel to see the build at all due to Covid-19. We were kept well informed by our Construction Supervisor, John Spark, who provided lots of photos and updates. John was very easy to work with throughout the process.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend .
