Rose St Pantry

We have just joined the Fitzroy community and consider ourselves very lucky to have found Meredith and the Rose St crew. Not only is the food amazing, but it's just such a pleasure visiting. And the Friday night virtual cooking classes have kept us sane during lockdown. Can not speak highly enough of this little Rose St haven.

I live a couple of blocks away from Rose Street Pantry and of life's pleasures is to drop in for a chat with Meredith and try some produce she always generously has on show. She is enormously knowledgeable about food and spices, and her Pantry is bursting with amazing and diverse quality produce. Today I purchased some chicken liver pate and a goats cheese cylinder for lunch. It was almost a transcendental experience. If her Mediterranean slow cooked lamb is available, it is as good as any in Melbourne.

Located steps from Rose Street Market, Rose Street Pantry is a fantastic shop with everything you needs to make healthy, delicious meals. Meredith and her team make a special effort to stock gluten-free, Australian-sourced, low-FODMAP, organic, and sustainable products.Despite the small footprint of the shop, they offer everything from basics like milk, yogurt, meat, and vegetables to gourmet foodie items, gifts, and ready-made meals.Plus, Meredith and furry sidekick, Maisie, is absolutely amazing and such a great source of cooking inspiration! Clearly, I'm a fan.

We love getting group meal catering from Meredith and her team for our team meetings at The Melbourne Apothecary and Fertile Ground Health Group. We are all health practitioners so you can imagine how complex we are with food sensitivities and ideals for healthful meals! They always surprise and delight us with the most delicious creations for an affordable price.Thanks heaps we are super grateful and so enjoy all of our interactions with you too - from the first moment we wandered into your shop and you were making a mushroom ragout and we couldn't leave with out it for our own dinner! Yum!

Interesting little store with different ranges of gourmet food lines. Some gluten free products that are hard to find elsewhere. They also cook some amazing smelling dishes that I due to diet restrictions can't eat but a lot of happy people leave the store. Great staff, cute dog walking around. Worth a drop in when you are at the Rose Street Market

Everyonebis so friendly and helpful here! They ave a delightful range of essentials and special goodies for when you're looking for that little something extra, not to mention their daily freshly prepared, hot cooked meals. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area
