Having spent over 20k on milwaukee over about 3 years, and having to have had nearly half of the tools I've purchased needed to be returned for warranty repair. MILWAUKEE has proven itself to be nothing more than a good marketing campaign, with sub standard tools, near non existent quality control and exceptionally poor service.After way too many times having to have made a 3hr trip to return tools to place of purchase so they can be sent for warranty repair, wasting a day of my time on drop off (6hr round trip), and another day to pick them up once repaired, I found myself in the position of having purchased several tools, not fit for purpose, with Milwaukee repairer not prepared to make the adjustment so the tool could be used with the precision control required and expected when using said tool for its intended purpose. I'm speaking in this regard about a m18 planer. Meant to be used with incremental adjustment of .1 of a ml. Whereby when I bought the tool, there was a difference from 1 side of the blade to the other of about .5 of a ml. The warranty repairer, backed by milwaukee after being returned, refused to repair, saying its not their job to calibrate. Yet their is no calibration able to be done by the end user without voiding the tools warranty. After many emails with milwaukee over this and several other issues, I was promised a rep would be in touch, come to where I am, since I've wasted several wks of my time travelling to and from to drop off and pick items up that have needed repair, and sort this matter, and several other repair issues out. That was over 3 months ago.. im about to contact fair trade and the ombudsman. I've waited and been stuffed around long enough. The purchase was made over 6 months ago. The tool isn't fit for purpose. I demand my money back.. Milwaukee motto shouldn't read 'nothing but heavy duty'.. Rather the more honest slogan would read ANYTHING BUT HEAVY DUTY. MILWAUKEE YOURE A HOAX!!! I'll be sharing this to trust pilot and any other review platform I can find.. this planer issue is just the worst of what is beyond pisspoor performance and broken promises of any sort of service, and a need to have repaired most of the tools I've purchased.. Milwaukee is Nothing more than a brilliant marketing scam. The loss of productivity from choosing this brand has been massive & the time wasted has been incredible. They fail to fulfill agreements or promises and show no integrity in that regard, meaning they're totally untrustworthy.Zero stars is what they deserve.3wks later..After receiving response from owner asking me to contact their customer service number,so they could 'resolve the issue ',I decided to do as requested & call & give milwaukeee 1 last chance to ease my multitude of grievances with them, whereby when I called, rather than even attempt to resolve anything they simply tried to direct me to write them more emails.. ive already been through that process several times, recieving just unkept promises!! The definition of stupidity is continuing to repeat the same process and expect a different outcome. You made me out to be stupid already. I may be a slow learner, but you won't fool me into that scenario again.As said above..MILWAUKEE, YOURE NOTHING BUT AN ABSOLUTE HOAX AND PATHETIC JOKE.. wasting still more of my time, and providing nothing in return except frustration. When buying the red tools, the high prices pays for the marketing, the r&d, and the continuing needed warranty repairs. Not actually paying for a well made product. Milwaukee deserve minus star in soo many aspects, with the dismall customer service & seemily non-existent quality control and continual broken promises, including from the owner. Best tools I've ever used. Highly recommend the packout storage system and LED lighting range

I can't stop buying them, its an addiction that makes my life easier on the tools. Recently swapped over to the platform, awesome tools

I'm a mechanic and business owner, spent approx $15k on milwaukee products. electrical tools have been great with the 5yr warranty so I figured I'd purchase all of their sockets sets available for our mobile unit.I understand components fail, quality control can miss something etc. But Milwaukee won't just replace a failed item (brand new 1/2 ratchet fell apart) they require the whole set. This is the same procedure for the 1/4" socket set that had a screw missing from the universal joint

Took 5 weeks or so for them to notify Total Tools that my battery was no good and that they would dispose of it for me which I never asked them to do even though the battery still held partial charge. Granted, the battery was a year or so out of the warranty period (lamest battery warranty out of most major brands) but had probably been charged less than 30 times which I'm sure they could easily have verified. Poor customer service considering I've spent well over $5k on Milwaukee tools over the years.

Terrible customer support. When breaks it will take weeks to get it fixed, sometimes over a month. Staff are rude and think they can do whatever they like. Well they can't push me around if I don't have any Milwaukee gear so I'm going to go to another brand and get rid of my Milwaukee tools. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools but I will never buy another because of the terrible attitude to repairs. Don't even think about a replacement or refund!

Just witnessed a Milwaukee Tools driver in his bright, firetruck red, yank tank reversing into a bay not 3 feet from the entrance of a roller rink as a party of 7 year olds were leaving. When asked if he could please take his death mobile out of reverse as children were leaving behind him, he got so triggered and flustered that you would have thought he was told that the earth was round, vaccines save lives, and Labor won the election. Poor dear had a proper tantrum.You'd think if you're going to drive a death mobile with your business plastered all over it, you wouldn't aim it at children while fully locked and loaded. But this is all just my opinion.

Really happy with packout range and m12 drivers. Our trades also use the random orbital sander.
