After realising there was two businesses in one this was an easy find using Google maps.The ladies here are just beautiful and friendly.Highly rate this hairdresser. I felt comfortable and relaxed and walked out feeling a million dollars!!

Wish I had done a little more research before a mens cut, need to talk out a loan, perhaps it’s to pay for all those positive reviews from the family and friends. the real positive was my experience with the hair dresser she was very personable, I won’t mention her name as she will likely be fired but your secrets are safe with me and I hope you find a salon and ownership that looks after you and you can break free, you are an excellent person and they are lucky to have you, keep focused and don’t worry about the twins.. i am sorry we won’t get to chat again I think I am better off at a walk in at half the price.

This hairdresser is a little hidden gem. This business bent over backwards to fit me in when my previous hairdresser cancelled my appointment without any notice or communication. This is my new hairdresser. Very friendly & professional business.

This was my first experience with an expensive hair salon, (my normal hairdresser which is a 3rd of the price was booked out) and it will be my last. My experience with this salon showed me money can't buy good service. I booked in for a cut and highlights a few months ago, and ended up sitting at the salon for almost 5 hours (at least one and a half hours of which I spent waiting for my haircut to be continued in the hairdressing chair). I got very thirsty by the end, and asked for water politely 3 times from 3 different hairdressers, and all of these hairdressers said yes to my face and then did not oblige. Most of the staff appeared cold and rude, and did not acknowledge me, except when telling me I needed to pay for an additional service for my hair type. Additionally, I had to get my hair rinsed twice, and then brushed out twice afterwards when it was wet. Both hairdressers brushing out my hair did not bother to try and alleviate my pain when brushing (as hairdressers normally do by putting their hand on your roots when they are brushing), but simply tore at my hair while talking with their friends and not asking if it hurt, or apologising for being so rough. I am not a baby and have had my hair brushed out briskly by many times by hairdressers before, but at Shine hair, I was struggling to hold back my tears. I left after 4 and a half hours even though the hairdressers still had yet to do some shaping of the hair (which I have no doubt would have taken another hour), because I was so thirsty, hungry, and also sad that I had wasted the whole day on this horrible experience. I did not deserve to be treated how I was at Shine hairdressing, and would not recommend them at all.

Hands down the best hairdressers in Canberra!After another salon fried my hair, I was at a loss at what to do - I was considering shaving my head and wearing a wig. I went to Shine and they immediately came up with a plan to fix the colour and get the condition back.18 months later, I wouldn't go anywhere else. My hair is healthy and looks fabulous. Katrina and her team are amazing and make you feel as if you're a part of the family. They really listen to what you want and set about achieving it.If you're looking for a quality salon filled with great people, Shine is the place to go!

A place to go to get amazing service, with talented colourists and cutters. Sit quietly and hear yourself think, or jabber on about life... do both. Way cheaper than therpy and they made me look good to.

Been attending for 2 years. I place high value on my hair and am willing to pay more to find an excellent hairdresser. I have been blonde for 12+ years and experienced some hairdressers who’ve nearly ruined it. Grace is an excellent, high quality hairstylist. Her colouring, cutting and styling skills are outstanding, I always walk out feeling delighted and very pleased with her work. I’ve recommended her to other friends. Love to sit, have a coffee, get a massage and have a little chat at the salon. Thanks Grace.

I had foils and a cut and it was AMAZING! The ladies were so efficient on time! My foils are so well done and look so natural and beautiful. The experience was enjoyable! I would recommend to anyone!

Emily was amazing :) went in knowing I wanted my hair shorted and a different colour but didn't have a set image in mind. She took the vague ideas I gave her and made my hair look amazing!! The girls here are great and the head massage during washing almost sent me to sleep it was so incredible. Can't say thankyou enough!
