Loved the food especially Chilli mussels and Flounder! Jason provided excellent service which made dining here more memorable. Really had a good feed. A walk into the fish market was interesting as you can purchase fresh fish, prawns etc

If you partner with a fishmonger then you can be assured the seafood is one of the freshest in town. The service from Kallis is attentive. Waiting time is short. We had the lemon sole and the muscles in chilli. Both exceptional. The sole was fresh white flaky sweetness and the clams are so good non of the green tough leathery stuff we get back home. This is like eating oysters. Sweet with a hint of the sea. All in a very enjoyable experience.

I am genuinely confused on why this place is rated so highly. It has to be one of the worst dining experiences in my life. Bad food, bad service, bad atmosphere and worst of all, when you walk in it smelled like dead fish.

Food was nice no complaints from the table. Staff friendly and available.My complaint as the one who paid the bill, value for money it is not.For the cost of my meal the serving was inadequate, at this cost I would have expected a larger serving offer what I got or at least a cheaper cost. Tasted nice but I have had better chips at other locations with more and cheaper.

Hands down best seafood market in Perth. Incredibly fresh, options that could have you eat seafood every night of the year. Sushi fridge, live crustaceans, fresh crusty bread, condiment & a fabulous restaurant right next door. I requested Spanish mackerel fillets as they only had cutlets in the fridge & he brought the whole fish out on his shoulder & asked if it was suitable! Perfect fillets & cooked up a treat. I buy fresh scollops monthly & cray recently for Christmas. Can not go wrong. Customer service is exceptional & I look forward to my visits.

Had Sunday lunch here it was really lovely- had the ceviche for entree with oysters, then for my main I had chilli mussels. Partner had the grilled fish. It was a lovely day. Service could of been a little better had to wave down staff a few times to get another drink.

Disappointing - We have been going to Kailis for over 15 years, and we enjoy the fact that the menu has barely changed in all these years. We know what they do and that they do it well. Unfortunately our recent experience fell far short of their usual standard. The restaurant as practically empty when we arrived, 3 tables of 2 or 4 people, so we were advised we could sit anywhere. A waitress appeared and plonked two glasses of water on the table and did not ask if we wanted to order drinks. Then another waitress arrived to take drinks and food orders, we only wanted a glass of wine each. After a VERY long wait I had to go and ask where our wine was, the staff appeared to have forgotten about it. Then we were advice that the entree we had ordered was sold out - why this took them so long to find out is a mystery. The waitress then stood over us as we chose another option. When the food came it was disappointing too - the squid was tough and chewy, the chilli mussels rather mediocre and my snapper, although tasty, was not worth the $40 plus price tag. Two small pieces of snapper over one sliced baby potato. The restaurant was still empty bar a couple of tables, so the kitchen and staff were not under pressure. In todays current financial climate dining out is even more of a luxury and as such you expect it to feel like a treat, sadly this was not and we may reconsider returning in future.

The food was really tasty, tried chilli mussels and seafood linguine it was really good. I brought my students twice to this place around 14 of us each and everyone of us enjoyed the food . The customer service, was really good they took the food order smoothly the food arrive on time. Definitely will be going back again .
