Fantastic customer service for both scheduled servicing, warranty repairs, minor issues and calling to get advice. Bough my car new from Austral and cannot fault with work Damon and his team do.

Serviced my T Cross, great reception experience.

I recently had a major service on my VW Tiguan and the experience was very professional, clean and efficient. We received the car back very clean and there weren’t any dirty finger marks or oily smudges to be seen. We did shop around for quotes from other VW service centres and Austral Newstead came in the cheapest and were also very competitive with the European car specialist mechanics. After being so competitive on price, knowing all parts were genuine Volkswagen and the value of the VW stamp, they were the easy choice of service.Unfortunately some days after receiving the vehicle back, we were presented with an EPC error light when applying power in higher gears (merging on highway). I suspected something had come loose around the throttle body/turbo or the computer had bad software from the service.I took the car back in and the technicians found the intake pipe was detached causing a boost leak. This area was washed during the major service where they found a small leak from the turbo. The service manager took care of the service charge to refit the pipe, but assured me it wasn’t something that would’ve come loose during the service. I felt like the defect was coincidentally too close to the major service for the pipe to just come loose days after the service, and the staff definitely knew I felt that way. They were very nice about that and retained a future customer. Thanks guys!

Very expensive cheaper to go to another volkswagen service centre, save yourself 40% . These guys also try to repair things that don't need to be touch to get more money! Scam

Absolute robbery at its very finest. Replaced locking wheel nuts with standard nuts 20 minutes labour $60 dollars worth of parts charges $240 it’s a complete rip off off a place. How can you justify $180 dollars worth of labour for 20 mins ? This it complete and utterly ridiculous.

If you want to get your VW serviced and have any warranty or other issues fixed, you cannot rely on this team to do that! On face value the Manager will smile in your face while literally making an excuse for incompetence from the tech staff he oversees. Please read your receipts before you pay and leave as after my second visit to this place, the information is inconsistent and the tech staff literally lie about the work they have completed. This place is a shambles. I’d rather drive to the other side of Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast rather than use this crooks den again. Go there at your own peril!

What an absolute amazing experience from a the A1 TEAM at Austral VW at Newstead. On the way to work this morning I had a minor issue with my 2016 Golf - I was in the area at Newstead so I popped in to Austral VW, hoping they could check it out.After being greeted by AMIR at the service counter, he offered to reach out and help me even though they were extremely busy.The young serviceman (wish I got his name too) not only fixed the minor problem but also checked other minor issues.Being a business owner myself, I know how under pressure it is during Christmas week but these guys went above and beyond.So pleasing- thank you Amir your exceptional service this morning made a massive impact on the busy start to my day- you deserve all the credit!Thankyou Guys

Great customer service but questionable work on the car. Came in with a <10,000km car for its first service that had zero issues, left and had 3 faults on the drive home alone. Not sure how a service could negatively impact a car so significantly. No call back from the manager to address. Will look elsewhere for future servicing and purchasing

Customer service seems genuine. However I'm not overall happy, long story short have spent alot of $$ to get a couple of problems fixed. Was told one problem has been fixed but the other still not. When I go back again it will be the third attempt to fix ,really feels like I'm getting taken for a ride. Beware ,good for servicing but don't get anything fixed.
