Stopped overnight for the museum flying event and had dinner at the Ex-Services. It has been a very long time since I have experienced such wonderful, warm and friendly service. The staff are very attentive and polite. My son commented how fun it was to be called kiddo". A phrase not heard these days in the larger town centres and cities. Food was very nice and well portioned. Highly recommend if you are passing by or staying a while."

Buffet was very limited for the price and the whole schnitzel is half what i get in other places. However, the salmon was cooked perfect and flavour was delicious. Went back a second time and the buffet was worse. $24 for dry fish, soggy beef stew, spaghetti and a few basic salads. The vegetables were so soggy, they feel apart. The barramundi was frozen, package craps and nothing was value for money.

We had dinner last Monday and today. Monday we had to waited more than usual timing but it's looks like very quiet day even we couldn't ask why was it delay.. No staffs at the counter.. Today we waited nearly 45 minutes for our entrees.. no service at all it'was messy everywhere just chuk the plates on to the table..
