EcoKleen Solar

We had our solar panel cleaned by Ken. He has done a very good work. I am using him for the Second year. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Just want to provide an honest review on Ecokleensolar (Nepean) and my unfortunate experience.Ken (Ecokleensolar – Nepean) was enlisted to perform some bird proofing work for the solar panels, I had pigeon/bird issue where they have nested under my panels, Ken came out and quoted me and was very reasonably priced and seemed very knowledgeable, the following week Ken came out and completed the job which resolved my pigeon issue.BUT the problem/issue I unfortunately experienced was the Kens rectification of the roof tiles he accidently broke. Understandably, when you’re working on a roof you will accidentally break roof tiles. Ken did replace some of the broken roof tiles and where he deemed it he was unable to replace the entire roof tile he advised he had fixed them with roof tile quality silicone.Unfortunately when it rained a few weeks later I was presented with water stains on my ceiling, when I proceeded to get on the roof to determine the cause the leak I was shocked to find how Ken had repaired the roof tile with silicone. In reality Ken should have lifted the flushing and replaced the entire tile (which I did myself and I not the handiest person). What was worse is that the fix applied was the cause of the water leaking and staining my ceiling. So I contacted Ken to advise him of the problem I had encountered and how disappointed I was with the attempted fix of the roof tile (not the only roof tile fixed in this manner). To my surprise Ken refused to acknowledge or even apologise for the problem instead he directed me to the disclaimer on his invoice regarding broken tiles, but I pointed out that breaking tiles was fine but rectification of broken tiles should mean no leaks should occur.I then contact Ecokleensolar head office and was advised they couldn’t help and that if I wanted I could lodge a claim against franchisee, but I would have had to prove the leak was caused by the broken tile which I had already replaced.So just wanted post this review to alert people of my experience and if I knew this I wouldn’t have engaged Ecokleensolar. I am know left with getting out another trade to rectify the other tiles Ken has fixed as I have no confidence in what he has done.

We had Ken clean and check our panels last week, he was very thorough-professional-on time, we were very happy with the after work reports and follow up. We would highly recommend Ken.
