If you need to be in Barangaroo then you can't beat the location. Rooms are small, but smart use of the space. I like that there is a desk and you can actually do some work. Shower is small and if you are a big person, you would struggle with the space. Beds are comfortable but rooms could be a bit better maintained. (Sink seemed a bit blocked and drained really slowly) Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful, I commend the staff!

I only checked it and I will update this as my stay progresses but so far Peter at the front desk provided me with exceptional service beyond what I would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Best Ibis I have ever stayed in. Staff on front desk were exceptional - welcoming and helpful. We got into our room on arrival early which was great. A lovely lounge area was available for us to have our freshly brewed coffees on departure too. All in all, a memorable experience! Would highly recommend it, especially if you are overseas tourists, as we were.

Close to Barangaroo district is the only plus. Poor service. Extremely basic room queen bed. No complimentary items supplied such as shampoo, shower cap, cotton buds etc. Tea and coffee supplied but no snacks or bar items.Breakfast was VERY expensive and not good value. $60 for two of us for a cup of tea, fruit salad and a croissants. The same would have cost $12 at nearby cafe.Disappointed.

This is the second time I've stayed here and unfortunately it was worse than the first. Firstly, the air conditioner noise is very loud and even though I had turned off the unit at the wall, the fan didn't stop. I tossed and turned all night, and even woke up with a headache! The windows don't open either so don't expect any fresh air.Secondly, 2 lightbulbs had blown and the showerhead was broken.Great location but not much attention to detail. Not being able to stop the air conditioning unit was also very stressful.

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to leave a review to say thank you to the helpful staff. Their service was 5 star. Special thanks to Janesh who went the extra mile. I had flown in late due to weather, and arrived too late to organise dinner. Janesh happily sorted dinner at the lobby for myself despite the kitchen being closed! So a massive thank you to Janesh.Otherwise, a comfortable room with necessities in a good location to explore, and excellent service. Great for sole travellers on business or otherwise.I will hope to return in October, and will be looking to stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. The room was very modern, well equipped, and clean.All of the staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly.The location is fantastic being so close to Darling Harbour, central quay, all of the iconic sights, and the CBT District.Considering the above and being in the centre of Sydney this hotel is fantastic value and we cannot wait to go back.
