Bombora Beach House

A great place to stay with 2 family groups with kids & teens. Loads of space & separate zones to spread out. Comfy beds. Fabulous views. We loved eating outside on large deck. Brilliant place to chill. Thank you.

my wife and i were lucky to stay for 4 days mid week.The home was spotless and absolutely beautiful. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped, .Pool was beautiful and the view was to die for from all levels .The whale watching platform ,was also a high light, we would recommend this home to anyone ,be great for families.

Really lovely spot with heaps of decks offering stunning views of the ocean (and whales!). Lots of different spaces allowing for some quiet time, and a large kitchen living dining room with big deck to come together

We were three couples and a couple of kids. We loved this house. The set up makes it so easy for everyone to have their own space but there is plenty of room to all come together. The house is open and airy and the pool is a bonus when it gets too hot at the beach. I also appreciated the entertainment extras (games etc) for wet days and the kitchen was well set up to cook and feed a crowd.Would definitely book again

House was immaculate, fantastic set up for a large family or group, the outdoor verandah was a perfect place to enjoy a wine and watch the whales. Looking forward to coming back and bringing all the family.

I don’t usually leave reviews but every now and then you come across something special. We stayed in the Studio at Bombora – totally self contained, clean and cosy- for a couple all you need ( and cheaper than the whole house). The studio , like the rest of the property has magic views which is great for checking the swell, watching the whales migrate and at night the sky comes alive with stars.We had friends staying in the main house at the same time so had a good look around! Five star property with good appliances, access to Spotify with sound system that provides tunes to the spacious balcony with large dining room table for a big group.All appliances up to the job of dealing with a large group. The 90 cm oven and gas stove all good for those who like their home food a bit on the gourmet side. We got to use the swimming pool and it was clean and well maintained. Owner obviously has attention to detail as it was clear that paint touch ups and garden maintenance was keeping everything looking like new. Five stars from me and look forward to returning soon.

Stayed weekend of the 12th to 15th of February.Nice house and great views.However, for the price you pay would've expect better.1. The oven and BBQ needed a good clean by us. The floors around the lounge chairs were dirty.2. Bathroom pack consisted of 2 cakes of soap for the entire house, you would get more from a 3 star hotel.3 The fridge did not keep food cold and had to throw out food. The freezer did not freeze. Left a message at discover stradbroke and emails, no response.Definitely be staying elsewhere on straddie next time.

Had a fantastic stay at Bombora Beach house. Great views and amazing home. Incredibly comfortable and spacious. Stayed with a group of friends and we all had our own space to hang out in. Particularly loved stargazing from the look out platform with a glass of bubbles in hand. Would definitely return as soon as we can.

The refrigerator was broken for the stay and no response from owner or manager. Did not get fixed for whole of the holiday. Crockery was chipped cutlery dirty. Oven filthy. Two guest cake of soap for 10 people. No hair dryers. Not 5 star maybe 2-3 star. View great. Spacious place.View

We really loved our stay here. Amazing views from different places in the house. It didn't matter that the weather wasn't so good as you can watch the ocean and whales for hours! Great to have a place that works so well for a couple of families - with places to come together or quiet spaces to chill. Such great attention to detail in the layout and appliances. We would definitely rebook.
