this school is mentally and physically draining, teachers don’t care about nothing such as bullying. principal included. was so glad to leave this disgusting school. don’t take your kids here trust

I'm writing this review on the school's canteen. The canteen made a comeback with Pepsi Max Lemon however making prices higher on nearly all items is absurd. And the quality has just dropped, who wants a dry sausage roll? And it feels like every term prices continue to rise! Noodle cups now $4 after being a item that was affordable something needs to change.

KDC is no good. despite there upgrades to the walkway pavements which now have synthetic grass, there’s issues within the school that needs to be addressed. There is a LOT of bullying, teachers don’t care about the emotional well-being of students ( especially those with mental health issues) and the yard is literally flooded with pollution . The students are somewhat multicultural so that’s a positive, however in saying that, most students are highly disrespectful and film innocent kids and post them to social media platforms. The library is the only decent space in the school, as the chairs aren’t the uncomfortable generic ( damaged) plastic chairs used for every classroom. If I were a parent I’d reconsider my decision to send my kids to this school.

barely any halal/vegiterian food and the food that does fit those dietry requirements are so expensive. knowing our school is in the west and that people arent wealthy here, it doesnt make sense that to get a proper meal, you got to spend $5 or moreother than that i guess the school is fine

the only thing the teachers at KDC care about are the uniforms...that's it. most teachers at kdc are Unsupportive and sarcastic. the classrooms at kdc are way to overcrowded hence there is a lack of individualized attention for students, the loud ones get helped only. The students are a mixed bag, however i've seen a lot of social bullying in classrooms not so much actual physical bullying in classrooms that more happens in the yard though. i've also seen teachers get objects thrown at them by students and get called names at this school. :(

Keilor Downs College is Melbourne's worst high school, I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend, she has anxiety and had to deal with kids constantly whispering behind her back, and teachers did nothing but sitting on their - and made her feel like she was invisible the teachers at this school ignore rudeness and bullying in class and only pay attention when it’s too late, much too late. The education at this school really lacks, she felt like she was just learning from the textbooks without any support. I am that friend.

I finished year 12 last year and I can honestly say I learned little from this school, did not get into the university that I wanted, the teaching at this school is lazy, I had to invest in multiple tutors to nearly keep up with all the international students, I made hardly no friends and got treated like a misfit by teachers and students. I’ve cried nearly everyday after school. The toilets I was to scared to go to because of all the kids vaping in the girls room, and the graffiti in every classroom always was offensive. Please don’t go to this school.

pepsi max lemon is the best thing to ever happen to this school. five stars.edit: the great chicken wrap price increase of 2023 was a disgrace. i simply cannot leave my review at five stars when the chicken wrap costs $7.50. of course, i will still buy it like the mindless consumer i have been conditioned to be. it's a damn good chicken wrap.edit 2: i’m taking a star off for every time that the canteen messes something up. the sausage roll quality has severely declined within the last week… they’re D R Y now. the sausage rolls WERE amazing but now the canteen doesn’t cook them right, they’re dry as a bone. the pastry isn’t flakey at all, it’s like a biscuit. my go-to canteen item is now the shin cup, but the countdown has already begun; it’s only a matter of time before the canteen mess that up too.Edit 3: You mocked me, laughed at me, told me I'm crazy; but look who's in the right now.A quick recap for the uninitiated: in my previous edit, I warned of the eventual downfall of the Shin Cup; and now it's here.Not only has the Shin Cup's quality been on a steady decline (with longer wait times and warm water instead of hot water, resulting in uncooked noodles), the final nail was just put in the coffin; Breaking news from the KDC Canteen: the Shin Cup is now $4; a fifty cent increase. Four dollars. Not four Venezuelan Bolívars. Four Australian Dollars. Four hard earned dollars. Higher prices for lower quality, that's the KDC Canteen's motto.The ability to ruin every single item on the menu is almost impressive. First the chicken wrap, then the sausage rolls, and now my beloved Shin Cup. My rating has now been lowered to 1 star, which means it can't possibly get worse than this, but I won't be surprised when the KDC Canteen prove me wrong.Edit 4: Solo Lemon & Lime is THE best thing to ever happen to this school. Five stars.

They don’t care about mental health. having a music performance with free food and stickers isn’t gonna help anyone who’s actually struggling.

I hoped this school would be different but was let down terribly. There should be a no bully policy in place well they say they do but it’s not the case. I would be cautious Putting your child here they do not protect or take any measures to do anything to the bully. They turn a blind eye. Well that will not stop me from taking matters to the law.
