Not too god, boring

My review of the club coaches point of view. If your someone new and have never coached before. And stuck on where to start or looking for a pathway into getting your Senior C Licence or youth C Licence.And want to gain some experience while your doing your coaching course or after you gained some experience then want to do your coaching course with Football NSW. I would recommend starting and volunteering at this club.As a volunteer coach you don’t get paid. But I personally felt like I did.Expanding my football knowledge, gaining experience, expanding and exploring my own vision and philosophy.Learning player management, team management, parents management, communicating on the field, off the field, training drills, tactics, understanding player abilities, player quality.Designing and experimenting with new drills, tactics, playing style. Etc etc.( I personally from experience would recommend coaching boys team 14s or 16s that is if your new and haven’t coached before)At this club I had freedom to tap into my coaching knowledge and really learn through failure, mistakes and victories. I was free to be me.Without anyone interfering and telling me how to coach their way.Everyone at the club was friendly and welcoming Great atmosphere.The person I dealt with the most was Marian Ney. She has earned my respect and friendship. I don’t give my respect, loyalty or friendship so cheaply it’s very hard to come by.She is a good person with a good heart, very friendly easy to talk to, very hard working for the club. And someone who always goes out of her way to help her kids ( players new or old at the club), coaches or a total stranger.She is Merrylands football club, She is an amazing ambassador of the club and one of the best community leaders I have met.If I ever get get stuck or need advice, she is the only person I ask as she always has the answers and someone I could trust, rely on and a great mentor in general.She is also a highly experienced coach with years and years of experience and probably one of the top coaches at the club. And she is a level 3 referee and again with years and years of experience to back it up with. ( at the time of writing this review).

Worse Club ever. A lot of favouritism. Every child get treated differently. Horrible experience with this club.

Great club and people

Great sports oval, had netball and basket ball courts. With a small play area for little kids as well. Has toilets but it is not open all hours
