Transco Cargo Dandenong

The box fee reduction “policy” is fraudulent! Cargo boxes with the Transco logo are available in many local retail shops to be collected. The so-called company “policy” is to reduce the fee spent on boxes ($5 per box) from the total shipping cost upon producing the receipt – however, many local retailers do not bother to issue a receipt. Then the customer ends up spending adding $5 per box at the end. Even though the price of a cargo box is (just) $5, this may account for a considerable amount of money produced in a fraudulent manner. I understand it is not an easy task to track every cargo box, but there should be a better way of implementing this...

NILL CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNRELIABLE STAFF, POOR MANAGEMENT. Their only job is charging money and issuing the receipts and asking their SL team to delivered the boxes. After handing over boxes by paying money to them , we have to do the all the follow ups, and by calling they continually every day until they get their brains started and functioning, and it takes neary or more than one month to address to our matter with extra charge.

Nevertheless, it is an area that they could work on to improve the overall customer experience.Despite the wait time, I would still recommend Transco Cargo to anyone in need of a reliable and cost-effective cargo service provider. Their customer service and competitive pricing make them a great choice, and the wait time is a minor issue that should not deter potential customers from considering their services.Overall, Transco Cargo is a reputable company that provides quality service at a reasonable price. With a few improvements to their wait times, they would be an even better option for those in need of cargo services.

Please use another service and save your valuable time and money. Sent 3 boxes but only 2 were delivered. Customer service was so unprofessional and unhelpful. After calling continuously everyday for a week, they finally accepted that a box was misplaced due to their fault. Had to wait another month till they find the missing box and when the box was delivered, they charged extra for the delivery.

Called from Lanka to get information to collect the boxes. The person who answered the phone kept putting us on hold without any warning whatsoever, then when giving a contact number in Lanka to find out when we can collect the boxes started saying he’s busy and that he can’t waste his time on the phone. Original conversation started in Sinhalese and then when he started being rude we switched to English and then he calmed down. Are people who speak in Sinhalese beneath the ones who speak to your agents in English? Then came the blame game for handing the boxes to a shop. If you think the shop agents are incapable of providing a good service, why give them authority to handle them then? People go to these shop agents because not all live in the same suburb as the main collection centre.For a cargo service that has been around for so many years, maybe start teaching basic customer service skills to your staff before handing them a phone!To top it off when we finally got to know that we can collect the boxes, was given an appointment and when asked for confirmation said there was no need. Wasted an entire day trying to get the boxes as no appointment was registered. Got there at around 8:30am and was only able to finish everything close to 5pm!Will never use Transco again after this experience.

DO NOT DESERVE ANY STAR!! Very bad service at the other end in Sri Lanka. They give the appointment at morning 8am to collect the boxes and they keep the customers till 2pm to clear the boxes. Do you guys think these people who come to collect them are jobless they hv got no other scheduled work. Please let you staff or the management in sri lanka to be more convenient than this. And tell them to stop wasting people's time. Also this place is use to work for bribe and favor the customers who give them bribe. Typical sri lankan officers. This is why this country doesn't have any development. Such undecent people. But need to say the service at dandenong office is great but very sad about the service at wattala. Really disappointed and disgusting.

Worst service I have ever dealt with. These people don't know how to talk to their customers. Just like in Sri Lanka following the same filthy practices here in Australia too. Would give 0 starts if could

Wonderful staff. Always friendly and helpful. You might need to park on the road side. If you take the car in drop your goods and take the car out making space for others.Great place to ship stuff overseas.

Hi, Today my parents received 4 boxes which I have sent on 21st of February 2023 from Dandenong warehouse. All the boxes safely received, with any damages, without stolen any single items from it.This is the second time I used this cargo service. I really appreciate their services and highly recommend them.Thank you very much for all the staff members in both Melbourne and Watthala Sri Lanka.

I am very happy with this place. I call them one morning. Phone was busy. In the afternoon they called me back. I didn't expect that. I was really happy about how much they caring about their customers. I asked my questions and immediately got the response. Now I shipped my goods to Sri Lanka through Transco Cargo door to door service for the first time. Hope the service over there will be a good experience too.
