Coles Burwood

Shocking absolutely shocking.I walked in to find my partner and it was packed and so busy.I said to my partner 'note to self, don't come here Sunday arvo again'.But, it wasn't the day or time.When we got to the checkout we realized what the issue was.There's only 2 or 3 checkouts with service staff, all others you have to do it yourself. Never going back.

Good Coles store but milk often run out

Located in Westfield Burwood. Walking distance of about 7-8 minutes from Burwood train station. Large collection of consumer items. Reasonable prices on most of the items. Discounts available on selective items.

I recently visited the Coles Burwood, and unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. I feel compelled to share my frustration regarding the excessive wait time at the counter. It was an incredibly unpleasant and time-consuming ordeal that left me deeply dissatisfied.

Always understaffing the store with massive wait times at the register regardless if you go at peak or off peak times.

Staff weren't really helpful. They just stared at you like you're an alien about to steal. I honestly didn't like this location. Also, their cold drink section is always empty. I can understand if it is in the afternoon or even late evening, but this is about midday. I went in to get a few bottles of cold water and some energy drinks, and there were only 2 bottles of water and no V energy drink, only the sugar free.

I use to come to Coles Burwood every night between 11:30PM and 11:45PM from Strathfield to buy heaps of food for the animals I feed every night - Possums, 30+ stray cats and hundreds of birds the next morning. Some of the cold storage food I could fit into my cooler back pack but the 6kgs of dog meat for the Ibis I could not so the later I bought it the better. Midnight closing was perfect for my needs but now Coles have decided to close the Burwood store at 10PM every night. Why? 10PM is too early for me! Even Ashfield would then be better as it closes at 11PM but then Strathfield Woolworths also closes at 11PM, so why would I then go t o Ashfield? I will now have to take the train into Town Hall as both Woolworths and Coles World Sq still close at midnights there. But Burwood was ideal for me as I started my feeding in Burwood park one stray cat and half a dozen possums before pushing my trolley all the way to Strathfield where the other 31 cats, another 10+ possums and 100s of birds are waiting from 5:30AM. It is far too many bags to carry so collecting a trolley from Burwood Westfield was convenient too. Now my life has just become more complicated because Coles Burwood decided to cut costs and inconvenience customers.Your packing staff are still working away at Burwood until midnight so I don't understand why the trading hours were suddenly reduced by 2 hours every night.

Popped on a few times for bits and pieces but shelves often empty at end of day so unable to complete any purchases.
