Ritchies IGA Hastings

Time after time I have attended this store being encouraged by their specials Catalog.I am absolutely tired of attending here and their posted specials are not there, staff say they are sold out or to come back later in the week.Staff also stated that not all stores get what’s in the Specials Catalog- HELLO!!!Not me anymore, back to the big boys.

The store was pretty good over all, the shelves were well sticked and the meat is fresh and well priced.As for the fruit & veg, no thanks. I understand that its a small store and I understand that there are supply issues too. BUT! Some fruit was wrinkled and mouldy, not the marked down fruit either. I think they need someone in fruit & veg that knows what they're doing.

Great to not have a huge holiday crowd but was unable to get a few items l needed, l will try next visit to get them.

You Go Ritchies!!Ritchies has definitely changed quite a bit within the last couple of years. It looks so much better than it used to. The fruit and veg area really hasn't been changed that much because it has always been good in the first place, but the normal shelves aren't so cramped any more and the Delli section has been modernised and looks absolutely great. I'd say go and take a look yourselves because the IGA Hastings has been modernised and really changed around. The only downside is that they are still atad" more expensive than Coles

Always amazing customer service today was especially fabulous as Shelley in the Liquor Section bent over backwards to help me with selections and actually helped me to the car. This is the best experience I have had in there to date. Again love all the staff @ Hastings old fashioned customer service at its best.

They have almost everything I need and the staff is friendly

I love that the meat is always fresh and the snitzel is gluten free.

Ritchie's is closing in 4 weeks. I'm devastated. With prices so dear at Cole's and Woolies I was getting by with Aldi and Ritchie's. Now I don't know how I will cope. . Go hungry 3 times a week I guess. That's what the government wants. Be cold in winter and hot in summer thanks to all our utilities all going up. Thanks Albo you scumbag. To busy dividing us with the poxy Voice changing our constitution so we will be rated by the colour of our skin and climate change fear mongering. The planets not getting warmer. It's getting colder . Stop letting in refugees in the back door. EFF your electric cars. If we cant afford electricity in our homes and have brown outs how we gonna charge our poxy Tesla's . Build more homes for us that are here already . I didn't vote for you so good luck to all you wombats that did. Aaarrgh. Rant over. PS I know a man that lives in the corner of a milk bar in Hastings. It's efn cold day And night here in Hastings. Why can't this guy get somewhere to live. Oh that's right. He's white and privileged. Wake up Australia. Take care of our own. I was after just a few items and this supermarket had everything I needed. Clean store.
