Just Cuts

I've been going here for years now and I'm always happy. The staff remember me somehow even though I visit every 8 weeks or so. Maybe I'm in a rut, or maybe I just value the great haircut with no fuss.

I got the worst hair cut I've ever had. I showed Anne a photo of a hairstyle, a very simple job of layering and I got a completely different cut, too short and no thought as to how it would suit me and nothing like the photo. It was so easy a request I can't believe she hacked my hair off. NEVER will I go back and I regret actually paying her. Anne has ZERO SKILL AND SHOULD TRY ANOTHER LINE OF WORK!!! MAYBE GET A JOB IN A FACTORY WHERE SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO THINK AS SHE SEEMS TO BE INCAPABLE OF THOUGHT OR CREATIVITY. SHOCKINGLY INEPT!!! YUK YUK YUK

I asked for one thing; NOTHING OFF THE TOP. And she goes and cuts half my hair off. When I asked her to stop cutting it so short she just looked confused and kept cutting away merrily. Unbelievable

My daughter was looked after by the lovely Anna who gave her a great cut and was super friendly and nice!

Elle cut my hair today and as well as being a lovely lady, she cuts hair really well. I can't believe the difference she's made. It was done in under 30 minutes and without any of the usual palaver. I will return!

I visited Just Cuts at around 12pm on Monday and was surprised to find only one other customer in the store. I said I’d like my hair washed and cut if possible. The women told me, despite there being 2 hairdressers, it was an hour and ten minute wait. I said no worries I’ll come back. I drove home, downloaded their app as the pamphlet I picked up suggested, and checked in online. I then headed back at the suggested time. When I walked in, she was very surprised to see me, saying the wait time was now 30 minutes. I said that I had checked in online and it said 10 mins. She said she was going to have lunch so it was now 30 minutes so I can sit and wait. I said that she had directed me to come back an hour later so I drove home and have come back so no I will not be waiting and walked out. I’m now getting my hair cut at the new salon who fit me in straight away. Have always come to Just Cuts and never been disappointed till today

Was absolutely mortified for my 20 year old Autistic son today when I took him in for a hair cut to this place. I explained to the woman there how he wanted his hair and told her it needed washing first.Not 5 minutes later I get a phone call from the woman asking me to come back.When I got there she said “I can’t cut his hair, he has nit eggs. I saw them when I went to wash it”.He was so embarrassed. I explained ti her that he doesn’t have nits, he has dandruff.She argued with me and said he has eggs. I asked her to show me. I put my close up glasses on and she pointed out a white dot, and I gently moved it off the hair strand with my finger tip - which you cant do with a nit egg, you have to pinch it with your nails and pull it out.I said “They are not eggs, it’s dandruff”. “No its eggs”, she insists.I then proceeded to check his whole head, trying to find a live nit. By all logic there should have been a tonne of them if every white flake was an egg.There were none!!!She then said “Oh I saw one before”. I did not believe her and she just kept saying “I cant do his hair, I cant do his hair”.My god.No words.We left with his hair sopping wet and went to Hairhouse up a bit further who were absolutely amazing!!! They checked his hair and confirmed it was just dandruff, then they washed his hair with a dandruff shampoo and cut it. They did an amazing job and were so lovely.DO NOT GO TO JUST CUTS!!! UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNDER TRAINED!!!

I went past Just Cuts today for the first time to get my long shoulder length hair trimmed, layered and cleaned up. Tammy did an awesome job! It was very apparent from the get go that she knew what she was doing. I was very impressed overall with both her people skills and hairdressing skills. Big thumbs up! Would definitely go back.

I have been visiting Just Cuts at Southland for the past 10 years now and am always happy with the results. The team are very qualified and whichever stylist I get at the time will always give me a great cut. Being a walk-in service is very handy and I love how they cut the hair from dry making it a quick in and out no fuss visit. Regardless of this they always take the time to cut with patience and care. They also have a 7 day guarantee so if you're not happy with the result they will fix it free of charge (although I've never had to do that)!
