Both of our children have attended GLPS from prep/year 1. Our son has recently finished at GLPS and continued on at the Grace college (and is doing quite well). Our daughter has a couple of years left still at GLPS.We have been very happy with the school - both of our children have enjoyed their time at the school. The teachers at Grace have always been very caring, know the students by name, and are available after hours to discuss any issues. As well, Grace offers counselling services, which allowed our son to improve his confidence and how he handled various situations. Both of our children have taken advantage of the extra activities such as music lessons (strings), art, learning enrichment and various sporting events organised by the school. There is a strong community at Grace, enhanced through the fete as well as the P&F committee. They strive to improve the standards of the facilities and environment, always focussing on the children. The facilities are very new, with recent construction works completing the final stage of buildings to support all year levels, as well as providing a unique parent hub - further enhancing the community feel.I thoroughly recommend GLPS to anyone looking to provide a caring and warm environment for their children.

Did not even bother to reply to an enquiry for our daughter to attend prep. Very poor .. if that's the professionalism they have then I am glad she is now going to Mueller.

My son has completed a year of prep and I have been very impressed by the care, attention, and standard of education here at Grace. There is excellent communication between class teachers as well as the administration and principal. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much my son learnt in his first year, and now in his second, he is learning at an even faster rate. The school provides lots of support and aide for working at home as well as at school. He has made great friends, as have I with the other mum and dads. I would highly recommend this school and am confident that my second child - my daughter - will also thrive here. I also highly recommend the Grace Kindy. The school also provides excellent Before, After and Vacation care, so good that my son asks me to leave him until last to be picked up!

So disapointed with this school. On the surface it appeared to tick all the boxes however it is all a show. We were so upset and disappointed with the lack of genuine pastoral care and teaching systems we have taken our children out of the school.

We are very happy with the Grace Lutheran Primary School. The school has helped our son to have a very good start into his school career. We have found the staff, including teachers, administration and principals to be extremely capable, professional and dedicated, while maintaining a human face. Modern schools encounter great challenges having to satisfy multitudes of expectations from all sides. Grace Lutheran is doing a great job at this, offering great support to their students and integrating parents into daily life at their school.

Over 10% of the school left at the end of 2013 due to dissatisfaction with this school. Bullying is out of control and the school has ineffective policies and procedures to deal with this serious issue. Many children are denied access to learning due to disruptive children and are subjected to ongoing bullying without proper intervention by teachers and the leaders of the school. The school has been more interested in improving facilities than focusing on the most important issue - its children and the quality of classroom teaching. My advice - find a different school that has effective leadership and high quality teachers!
