Hamblin Hire
Hired a Jack hammer which was not cleaned and serviced properly. Had to spend time cleaning it out to get it to work (full of mud). Returned it and complained to the owner about it which fell on deaf ears. Was charged full price and was told by the owner that he will never frequent my business because I complained?? I liked his business as his staff were friendly and always accommodating but I guess I just got the owner on a bad day??

Dealt with Hamblin Hire for years and have always been reasonably priced. Not now, absolutely over the top. I should’ve asked the hire cost, was stunned of the hire for a concrete core drill. $327 to hire for one 75mm hole. Contractor price to do it $250. Asked the question, otherwise you get ripped.

I have spent a year on and off stripping wallpaper. Using a sub par steamer and a lot of elbow grease- the advice and tool I hired from Hamblin has finished the job in a day! 2 rooms done. Yes I am kicking myself for not going for the big spend of $44 per day.Scott and the team were wonderful. They explained how to use it safely and it has been so easy.I shall kick myself again.I cannot recommend them enough. A million stars.
