Shout out to Hitachi Australia.I bought a fridge from Bing Lee 18 months ago.I chose Hitachi for the 5 year warranty.Over 18 months some of the external coating wore off ( 5cm long) near door handle. Then 2 tiny rust spots were visible.I emailed Hitachi customer service.Within 30 minutes I got a response with some questions.Then they called and said we’ll deliver a new Fridge in 2 days and they did.Great service Hitachi, love your work Anita from Hitachi.

We purchased the 735L Hitachi fridge little less than a year ago. For reasons unknown to me, a small crack has developed on one of the lower shelves. It doesn't affect the structural integrity of the shelving, I was still able to place the usual items on it. But the cosmetic imperfection eventually got to me. So I emailed Hitachi Australia to get some pricing on the replacement.To my surprise, I received a response from Christine on the same day. After providing the necessary proof of purchase and pictures of the part, I received the replacement shelf the next business day.Hitachi did not have to honour the warranty for the shelf, but they did it anyway. The fact that they did that and the super fast delivery compelled me to write this 5 star review.

Have one of their fridges since last year and a loose hinge caused frizzier to produce fronts and ice...their customers service came straight away and fixed the issue straight away under warranty.So far very happy with both product and service!
