THE Larder Catering in Byron Bay

We hired the team at The Larder for our wedding in July, and then postponed a few times. Unfortunately due to running out of date options we had to cancel on The Larder, but their service through out our Covid debacle was fantastic. We got off to a rocky start with their former customer service staff member, but Drasta has been extremely helpful with prompt responses and answers to my million questions. Their chef (whose name I can't recall) was also great with answering questions and being happy to help out.I can't vouch for the food, but the service has been great.

Stay away from this business. They take your money and then lie to you. Their service was honestly the worst ive come across after they received the money.The food was terrible, some of it even unedible. I would go as far as to say it was disgusting. There are plenty of other catering companies in Byron save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

Great staff, great food and great service! Highly recommend. Our film crew was very happy.

The Larder provided us with catering for our post wedding BBQ, they dropped everything off right on time and provided everything we needed to host the day taking all the stress away from us, all of our guests where raving about how good the food was! Will definitely use the larder again! Rachel

A victim of their own success" (as per the last review left) would be an understatement! I engaged The Larder to cater to my 40th birthday lunch. It was a small & intimate affair - a seated 3 course lunch for 22 people. From the outset The Larder seemed very disinterested in my event. In spite of me mentioning it was a 40th birthday several times

We used the Larder for our weddinbg and went with the Build a Burger & Slider Bar!! The Food & Service was next level amazing! There were no hiccups during the planning and there was more then enough food to feed our guests and they all loved it!! Highly Recommend!!

Had the worst experience ever with The Larder. Please never use this company. I hired them for our function for finger food cocktail service. They told me we would need 2 staff for the number of guests which made sense. I got an email saying they were under staffed and only one staff would be arriving to serve the food. 15mins before they were supposed to arrive a staff member turned up with the food and told us the wait staff would arrive in 15min to start serving. No one turned up all night. Also the food was disgusting, most soggy , dry bread stale on the burgers, sauces did not have nice flavour. We were able to eat 2 trays of the 7. The rest weren’t touched and were wasted. We tried to get The Larder to be accoubable for their actions but they wouldn’t. They admitted that their staff member had covid. All they had to do is tell us so we could have found someone to turn up and serve the food. It was a horrible experience. Save yourself the money and stress and go through someone else. I only gave one star as there wasn’t a zero star option.

Amazing food! Drasta was extremely helpful and easy to deal with and our Christmas food was much better than we could have imagined (and very generous portions).

Catering by The Larder was extremely professional, well organised, stress free and the food was absolutely delicious and in abundance. They catered for a lovely long lunch with 60 people, staff were extremely friendly and made my day so wonderful. They left our house spotless too! I can't thank them enough and highly recommend them.

We put on an event partially catered by The Larder.When the paella arrived from The Larder, sadly, it was inedible mush.$300 worth of catering went straight in the bin. (photo attached)Our special dietary requests ( 2 x vegetarian, 2 x pescatarian) were ignored.Luckily it wasn't the only food we had organised.I have had no response to emails or phone calls since.It's a shame because Charles struck me as an amiable person, and a good communicator, until the food arrived and they went into radio silence.A very disappointing experience. Don't blow your money on these guys.They appear to be a victim of their own success. And no longer need to worry about providing a quality product.There are plenty of other caterers in Byron.
