Shark Shack Fish N Chips

I ordered a burger and chips the meat in the burger was under cooked and I ordered sauce and never got it chip were dry. I went back to get my sauce and the gave the wrong sauce mayo instead of tomato. Burger was cold and dry and so were chips.

I ordered Barramundi, chips and souvlaki and everything was excellent. Really great. The fish was extremely fresh and good value, and even the souvlaki was excellent. Service was very friendly, fast, and efficient. I am a Rye local who has fish and chips occasionally....I've decided that Shark Shack is now my first choice in local fish and chips from now on.

I don't recommend this place ever to anyone as they are rude and they aren't cheap they are expensive and the food isn't good spend $1.80 each for a dim sim and got 12 dim sims so that came to like $20 for just that chips didn't have salt on them as we ask for extra three times the potato cakes were soggy and black and the dim sims didn't even have soy sauce on them and they still pink inside we ask for extra source as well plus they were white so I recommend to anyone not to go to this place it came to $70 just for few dim Sims and chips oh sorry plus few potato cake and one flakeMaybe everyone else has good experience here but I'm sorry we didn't have good experience and not happy with the service

Super fast service, fish and chips were great. Crispy chips and just the right amount of batter on the fish.

As a local to the area it’s frustrating how they take advantage of the holiday season by bumping up the prices but seriously enough is enough. We got over charged ( not the first time either it’s occurred) asked for a refund for the amount that we over paid for and treated as though we had done something wrong. Waited over an hour for our food and eventually after having multiple members of their staff trying to find our order was eventually given it. I’d asked for extra lemon ( happy to pay for it) was given none. Never going back and would recommend not wasting your money!!

Terrible terrible terrible!!! What a terrible human being the owner is. We were there with our 3 young kids all under 7 years old. We spent over $110 for horrible quality food and sat on the outside table to ear. 2 mins into my kids had started eating the owner came and said we need to move within 5 mins as they are closing and need to take the tables inside. We told them we have little kids and my 2 year old had just started to eat so can he give is 10 extra mins. He said no and I don't care where you go, just leave in 5 mins. I don't care if your kids haven't finished. We got very upset as he started to yell at us in front of our kids. We packed and went to the park across the road, with kids confused and scared. My 5 year old asked me why that man was so so scary and shouting.Worst behaviour by the owner, horrible quality food, extremely expensive and do not even expect a smile on their face. Expect an attitude and terrible food.I am going to complain to a higher authority as he should not be allowed to run a venue like that. Please stay away from this place!

Quick service, hot & crispy chips but massive turnover which means really poor food quality unforch. I get it… it’s manic in holiday season but the chips were bright yellow before they went into the fryer. Why yellow?Just make great chips! People will come.

This shop was way to expensive two potato cakes , chips and a can of coke 12.20I’m guessing you need to be careful who you over charge because you may get a google review. shop was clean the staff reasonable friendly and the food was just edible as it was to salty. Never again not recommend. Very few places I give a one star to ‘And the potato cakes were not eatable and the coke had that taste it’s been stored outside ‘ it’s tasted off but was still 3 months inside of its best by dateNormally if I don’t like the serviceI don’t write a review this time I felt the need,five hours after eating there I feel really bad . Food as good as in any MilkBar. No longer selling Vanila Slices which were the reason to visit this establishment. Nowdays, this place has seen better days so Nothing special and not a place to specifically drive long distance to visit.

This was the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. Oily, unsulted and expensive and also rude staff. Walk away, don't spend your money here, you will regret.
