Damien Paynter was amazing !! In a short period of time, he got to the core of my issues and gave not only incredible insight but practical strategies. I have seen numerous therapists in the past, he 'worked me out' within a very short period of time. I made better progress in 6 months with him than I ever did It with any others in the past. It is obvious he is extremely skilled in his craft yet he is a warm & down to earth professional. I wish I had gone to see him years ago rather than wasting time with other therapists who just seemed to do textbook CBT they learnt at Uni. Thankyou thankyou thankyou.!!

My recent appointment with Damien Paytner was a total waste of time, money and effort. More interested in himself and his acheivements than my concerns. Neglectful of my distress, lacked compassion and offered no helpful solutions. I am a trained and registered professional in the health sector. I would not recommend Damien to anyone. Ann

I have struggled in the past with opening up to a male psychologist, Damien has been easy to talk to and open up to about things I'm struggling with. I feel unjudged and safe in the environment he provides. I have improved considerably since I started seeing him. I highly recommend Damien :)

I wouldn't recommend him. For one, he appointment priority for private paying patients over medicare patients. I had asked him if I could see him more often and he did the opposite and reduced the prevalence of appointments. After over a year of therapy I asked if he minded writing a report for victims of crime and he disbanded our sessions and wrote a nasty report to my doctor saying I was motivated by medico legal reasons and I was stilted in nature. I found this pretty offensive given that I spent most of the time trying to see him more often than I would've if I planned to just use him for a one off report and I was being pretty open book, full disclosure and spent most of my time talking about my love life!
