Australia Post - Gympie Post Shop

10 May 2022, a return postage parcel was dropped off at Gympie post office. 23 May 2022 had a chat session with a ‘customer service’ person of Auspost, I was advised that it was picked up from Gympie (although the tracking website was stating it still was in Gympie) and that I could launch an investigation from the 25 May. Launched investigation on the 31 May via tracking website, received email stating that there were delays and not to react any further until 17 June - but they were almost sure it would have been delivered by then. 20 June sent another email to Auspost as it was still not delivered, the answer I received was that Auspost was working through all the delays but told me to allow till at least 11 July. If still not delivered than they will start an investigation - what a joke.

In the last week I have have had two packages delivered and the driver went above and beyond to place my parcels in a safe place. I cannot thank this person(s) enough and just wanted to highlight the thoughtfulness of this team. Great work!

Went to forward a parcel to daughter in Isa (which Aust post delivered to us). But we had to pay to send it on but if I put it in box out the front it would be free but wouldn't fit. So we get to the counter with a new parcel pack as they would not except the new address written on the old parcel. So we asked if we could pay now then drop back at counter when filled out. O NO we can't do that I need the address it is going to to enter that in first before I can charge you. I said it is on the other parcel just take it from that. O no can't do that must be on the new parcel before I can help you. The bag behind the counter then said just fill it out and come back to me you don't need to hop back in line. What a joke it was quicker to stand in line than to wait for the thing behind the counter. Never again will I use Australia post. Thank God for emails and other courier services.

Absolutely wonderful service. They were able to locate a parcel that was misplaced. Sorted within about 2-3 hrs. Thank you kindly - my niece will get to open her birthday gift.

I don’t appreciate being hooted at and called from their vehicle to collect my parcel, then told if I don’t come out when she hoots, she will leave a the note in my post box & I’ll have to collect from the post office because she has over 700 mail to deliver & doesn’t have time to climb out her vehicle. (All of this said in a rude manner) But when I got notification of my parcel being delivered there was a link asking where I would like my parcel delivered & I clicked by my front door, so if Gympie Post office can not provide that service then don’t offer it???? Or hire more people to deliver post as the ones you have clearly are not willing to do their jobs they get paid for.

Partner went to pick up a letter because we got the note in mail box. When he went their the lady was rude as if my partner is a mind reader turns out theres 2 post offices in Gympie. what that lady doesn't know is we are from Cooroy where it's all done at the ONE post office so there was no need to be rude and assume everyone knows that. Like seriously save your rudeness for rude customers my partner is to nice to people and to cop rude service for know reason is a joke.

Received a notification from Auspost informing us of a parcel delivery in Gympie. When it was delivered we have never experienced the level of rudeness from a postie like this before. Auspost please let me know how to contact you in regards to this. Really poor behaviour from this person. Its a shame as i have always had good experiences in the past.

Very poor effort to the lady who had served me at 10.56am on the 21/10/22 if asked for $30 recharge for Telstra not a $20 Telstra recharge
