There are varying degrees of ratings here and I can appreciate not everyone has had a terrible experience.For those people commenting on the “receptionist” being rude - that is the vet.We find that this vet is more interested in what she has to say and not an active listener. Talks over the top of you when trying to answer questions. Forms opinions on you and how you treat your pet without actually asking questions.An example of this is shouting at us (in reception) about not just turning up from overseas after the Christmas break bringing in Covid to the surgery. We were going to Mackay.Pet fat shaming, abusing us for letting our cat roam and called her vicious - had us mixed up with someone else. Again - in reception.Gives away a lot of information about other clients and their pets - highly unprofessional.Gives out advice based on her opinions - I have fact checked with other professionals things she had told us.Our cat came back from boarding very stressed.Would not recommend.

You won't find a more passionate & knowledgeable vet, who is driven by the singular objective of providing exceptional care for her patients (our pets). Dr Cusack oversaw various treatments (and care in boarding when I travelled) of my cat for about a decade, until the very end of her life this month. Even though I have moved away from West End, I will always return to ensure Megan is the Vet for my future pets.

This vet may not be the best customer service but is of the best interest for your animals. Please be understanding that the veterinarian is also the receptionist and she is doing a great job running the whole practice just by herself. And I am sure if anything happens to my animals (one dog and two cats) she will save them.

Love this Vet Surgery. I've not found another Surgery I trust my pets with.Dr Cusacks attention and treatment of the animals care is second to none.

There is some serious phone issue with Telstra. It makes things very difficult.Megan is such a great person and vet.She cares a lot more than most.I personally feel so grateful for Megan.I know heaps of vets.Megan is a Westender from way back, and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and shares both in the most encouraging manner.Thankyou Megan.As for the phone issues. That's Telstra.It'll be completely replaced soon.It is worth the effort to get through to the point of receiving the brilliant service.Few comments regarding Megan not making everyone completely happy.... Even Jesus couldn't please everyone.I don't care if you have a bad opinion of her.If you need her, Megan will go above and beyond through and through.

Megan is PHENOMENAL! I called before adopting a cat with FIV, and she took the time to make sure I had all the information I needed. She is direct and very passionate. I can see how much she believes in what she does. When I came in to visit, I could see her care about every single person and pet that walked in. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable and offers the best possible service. She offers quick 10 minute check-ins complimentary to patients every few months because she cares about preventing illness and catching signs early. The prices for service are also reasonable and I know that I can completely trust her to take the best care of my cat.

Unfortunately the many reviews about rude and unstable behaviour here and through others I have met are true.I came across a woman that had found an injured bird, to which she called the nearby vet on speaker. The woman, worried about the bird’s fate, genuinely politely asked on the phone what protocol was if she brought the bird to her (would it be turned away, treated, put to sleep etc), and would it be worth bringing it in, to which the vet on the phone began screaming at the poor lady, accusing her of calling them ‘animal murderers’ and refused to take anymore calls, hanging up when I called on a separate number to the woman I had just met, stating that abuse and ‘verbal violence’ would not be tolerated.I took the bird in and had to pretend that this was from a separate incident, as I wanted the bird to get help, and it seems as though this vet would have let the bird die. The vet was also rude to me and told me about the phone call, which I heard in full, claiming that the woman was verbally abusive, was inciting violence again animals, and made her receptionist cry. Simply not true whatsoever, I heard every second of the phone call and genuinely couldn’t believe what I was hearing.Unhinged and aggressive, not a place that I would ever take an animal that I truly cared about. This is the same person who told my friend that his cat had scoliosis because it needed more balance in it’s life. Would be hilarious if this was a work of fiction. Giving two stars because they did actually take the bird.

Megan is the best vet we've ever had, and we've had dogs all our lives! She never stops educating us on making changes to diet and lifestyle to improve long term health. Best of all she really does cut the bills down as much as possible, which is pretty impressive given her commitment to environmentally friendly medical supplies! Advise; listen and try to take it all in :-D

Megan and her team is a caring bunch and works round the clock to meet your furry friend's needs. Although Megan is constantly busy with surgeries and procedures, their attention to animals is always there so that your pet gets the best health treatment. I was here for a second opinion regarding a fractured paw, Megan and her team immediately jumped on my case and even tried to contact with the previous vet for medical histories so you won't have to go through the trouble of any screenings again. Price here is friendly and reasonable so no bill shocks. Few 1/2P parking available at the front of the vet should you need to park your car.
