The Bakery's King Patisserie
I’ve been to this place before, a couple times actually and the sweets are usually good. The last time I stopped by was maybe a year ago. Tonight I went there with a friend and we were greeted with one of the servers following us around as we were looking at the display cases of sweets. Not sure why she was doing this? Did she think we were going to break the case and possibly run away with the sweets? Haha! Was very awkward. But once I spoke to her she seemed friendly enough and perhaps there may have been a communication barrier. Maybe she thought she would stand there in case we had questions or wanted to order, I don’t know. Was just off putting. The environment and seating looked modern and there was a fair bit of people there tonight. Now for the food… let’s start with the bad. The crown of all Lebanese sweets is the baklawa, this place unfortunately failed miserably. This was one of the worst tasting baklawa I’ve had. It was sweet but it was very doughy. Baklawa is meant to be light, sweet and have a crisp crunch when biting into it. This failed on all accounts. They also gave us 5 pieces instead of 6, but that didn’t matter because we took one bite each and didn't eat them. The good… I absolutely loved the walnut mamoul, it was so soft, fresh and was filled with walnut filling, everything a mamoul should have. For this reason I give this place a 3 star. They had awful Baklawa but one of the best mamoul I’ve ever tasted! I guess they evened themselves out! Maybe the patisserie chef was having a bad day and messed up the baklawa tonight, I don’t know, but I may give them the benefit of the doubt and possibly visit again. So if you’re in the area I HIGHLY recommend the mamoul, it is incredible!

Delicious and affordable Lebanese sweets by weight. We chose 8 items and it came to $10.10. My favourites were the walnut baklava, ma'amoul and the osmalieh (crispy kataifi pastry, ashta freshly spread on to order, and orange blossom syrup in a separate container to drizzle on when you eat it - so it all stays crispy).

The pastries are buttery and crunchy. But mostly taste the same which is a shame. They are too sweets for my liking as well. Got it as a gift otherwise wouldn’t buy it myself.

Great place for all things lebanese, sweets and lebanese style pizza. Also everything is made fresh on-site. The kaak selection is varied and generous. Shisha is also available at a very affordable price. Must try. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

We are regulars here. We come almost every weekend. To the new chef *thumbs up* food is better than ever. The only complaint is it takes a little bit of time. Always fresh and good portion sizes. Little bit on the dearer side tho.The argyle guy and waitresses outside are always friendly. The ladies inside however NEVER smile. Not sure what's wrong with them but when you pay it doesn't hurt to smile at the customer.Sweets are usually always pretty good if they are not sold out. Usually on the dearer side compared to elsewhere tho.Parking. Not so great. Need to figure out a better option as it is on a main road.Perhaps look after your regulars as well as we keep coming back. A biscuit with a coffee - a simple gesture. Something along those lines.

We drove from Melbourne to Sydney and had to stop quickly and have some of their dessertsWe had some of their baklava, and it wasn’t fresh and other sweets the sameWhen we went to pay, the two girls were talking in different language and laughing out loud that made us feel uncomfortable, I wasn’t sure if our outfit were not in their standards! But it was continuously to each other staring at us and laughing out loud, I have never felt so uncomfortable before like thisNot sure how you got your ratings up to 4 stars, but you need to retrain your staff if you want to keep your reviews high.

Very disappointed. I ordered a tiramisu and I really didn't like it (just ate 2 spoons of it). It tasted nothing like a tiramisu. Also be aware that if you don't take away they charge more than the price on the actual cake display. At the beginning, I didn't know what I was going to order. So I had a look around and I finally decided to order a tiramisu ( 5 dollars per slide on the glass cake display) my wife ordered a tarte ( also 5 dollars). So we told the waitress that we were going to dine in ( not take away). She didn't give us the menu. So she came later on with the order. Once we finished eating . We went to pay and then surprise surprise. Instead of charging us 10 dollars for a tiramisu and a tarte, she charged us 15,80. So I asked her why this difference. She explained to us that the prices for dinning in are different than take away. After hearing that, I told her that she didn't give us the menu when we notified her that we were going to dine in and also didn't explain that it costs more to dine in. In the end they apologised but didn't offer to rectify the situation. Total rip off -felt scammed !So just avoid this place.

Very disappointed with the quality of food.I ordered znood el set to take to a party and oh my God was I embarrassed after tasting the staleness of the sweet it was not fresh. Tasted like it was from the day before. The guess did not eat from it after 1 tried and tasted the same non fresh poor tasting quality of sweets. Tossed the whole lot in the bin.

The pettifor here used to be amazing, the last time I went it was bland, dense, flavourless, boring. I guess it was okay-ish all beit boring and bland however considering the price is still premium, well, then it's just not good enough.I hope you pick up your game and figure something out because I will give this place 1 more chance and then I'm gone for good, you won't get another $1 out of me.
