Renting 2 Buy

Totally unorganised. I had spoken to a few different people in different occasions but about the same topic. I got completely contradictory information from people from the same company. I think the information you get is just determined by what product that person wants to sell to you. They are not focused on the customer.And interesting enough, in the last contact with someone from this company, he said they don't offer rent to buy scheme (even though the company name is Renting 2 Buy" :) ). Isn't this a scam if you create a name to sound like one kind of business but in fact you are doing something different?"

We started with theses people about 3 yrs ago, we have now been living in our caravan for last 12mths and trying to get our money back.Sent emails no reply, phone goes straight to voice mail, leave a message get no reply. So they still have over $6000 of ours. Stay clear of these people.

Our concerns about them were similar to Janene and when they asked for my partners bank login info (full access to his bank account) it brought up a massive red flag and we have now stopped payments to them as we feel like it’s going nowhere and feeling more and more like a scam,(not saying it was but that it felt like it was). We were also thinking about taking them to fair trading but didn’t know if it would be worth it. We have already payed them a bit over $6,000.The reason we went with them is because we were/are impatient and are now starting to regret it. We just wanted to get into our own home ASAP and we feel bad for those that are loosing $$ to them with hope in their hearts. I will admit it was them that got us back on track with our spending and savings but it got to a point that when they would call and say we are still spending too much we would ask them for a breakdown of how they came up with this figure then when we showed them our breakdown all we got from them was oh yer yours is right sorry about that, this was the start of the red flagsPLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.No doubt like previous negative posts, after this bad review there will be three positive ones that will no doubt be fake

I have dealt with this company for some time approximately 2 years. Initially they promised me that they can get me into the housing market asap. Foolishness and because am so desperate to own a house, I agreed to be deducted $400 per month to save for my house. Need less to say they kept on deducting $400 and eventually came to a total of $19,200. And still they could not help me out. They kept on asking me the same document again and again.Now that I was able to get my own house without their help, and asked for a refund, they say I am not eligible to get a refund. Worst company to deal with when looking for a property. I began speaking with them back in 2019, and they promised affordable properties without doing due diligence on affordability. But happy to take my money nevertheless, and when they couldn't find a property for me, decided to keep the money and not return any calls or emails. If you want to try and get your money back over an 18 month period with the worst customer service possible. Then for sure go with Renting2buy. When they first started they were diligent and couldn't fault them. Now they seem like they want to take peoples money and avoid them at all costs.

I can't speak enough of this company. They helped my wife and I get on the right track. Our budget improved and we were able to get a loan for our deposit and mortgage and now we have started building our home which should be completed by June next year. I appreciate everything that Michael and Peter and the rest of the team did.

Worst experience with them. They have all our money, they said in the contract if after a certain months we still dont have a property, we can get our money back but nah! Can we all guys work together to have all our money back? I dont know how to get in contact with you all.

Great experience with our journey in property ownership through SMSF and through our personal investment. Mr Alvin Rebulado was an excellent guide and support throughout the whole process, he was there every step of the way, always ready to answer our queries and guiding us through our home ownership. Highly recommended to people who struggle in owning their first home.

Well what can I say about Renting2Buy Australia!Our experience was a nightmare!!Being constantly asked for the same paperwork over and over again (stall tactics), Rude staff, constantly having to chase them for information and to get things done. As a couple, no dependence and a 5% deposit you would think it would have been pretty straight forward But No!! They just wanted us to continue paying them $400 every fortnight. What they couldn’t/wouldn’t do for us over 8 to 9 months we actually got done in 2 week with an amazing mortgage broker that was paid nothing from us. Yes we had our home loan in 2 weeks. Engaging people that are desperate to own their dream home only to string them along. If I could give them Zero starts I would.They then block you from commenting on their social media platforms for calling them out.Fair trade has been contacted.
