A celebrant to remember
Heather organised a wonderful memorial for my grandfather, and despite the covid-19 restrictions was able to make the service intimate and memorable for all his family and friends

We first heard about heather from Alex gow funerals. My mum passed away and she did a wonderful job with organizing and lots of extra little things. She was there for us anytime. We have used her previous times throughout the family and friends. We just used her again with my grandmothers passing. Again heather went above and beyond for our family and I’ll be forever grateful to her for everything she has done. Thankyou heather for everything you did for mums funeral and grandmas.

Over the years I have attended many many funerals that Heather has afficiated at and would not hesitate in recommending her to care for your family, she is the most caring compassionate person I have had the pleasure in meeting

Compassionate Celebrant - If you are looking for a kind, compassionate, patient celebrant you can't go wrong with Heather. From the initial meeting, organising the order of service, preparing the booklets to the memorial itself, nothing is too much for Heather. There's no need to worry about the finer details, as Heather has it all under control with lots of ideas, unless of course you want to do parts of it yourself - that's okay too. I would highly recommend Heather as a Celebrant.

Heather facilitated the funeral of our grandmother and from start to finish her compassion, care and professionalism was outstanding. She worked tirelessly to ensure the eulogy and and programs were perfect, and she delivered the service flawlessly. She made our whole family feel comfortable and we are so thankful for her going the extra mile for us during such a difficult time. No task was too hard, and her attention to detail was impeccable. I could not recommend her enough.

A celebrant to remember
Heather, sadly, in our family's recent experience, IS a celebrant to remember, but for the wrong reasons.Although Heather, in her meetings with family prior to the funeral, was caring and comforting, and her conduct of the ceremony was passable, her delivery of the eulogy was extremely disappointing. This document was the product of days of deliberations by a number of different family members. She apparently had not read the eulogy thoroughly, prior to the service. She had not printed off the entire document, so it ended abruptly. She did not read sentences as they had been written. She could not break sentences into phrases that made sense. She stumbled over the content repeatedly. This was unfortunate, because the hoped-for respectful, coherent send-off the family had anticipated did not occur. For key senior members of the family who were physically unable to attend, the eulogy would have been difficult to understand. Those linking in from overseas will find it even more befuddled. An additional faux pas was when Heather named the person who had overseen the funeral arrangements, as the deceased.I hope that for Heather, she was just having a bad day.

I was referred to Heather by Alex Gow funerals after the passing of my younger brother Tony.Alex understood our preferences for the service for my brother and his very first referral to us was to engage Heather as the funeral celebrant. He was SPOT ON in his recommendation of Heather. We did not want a sombre service, but rather an uplifting celebration of my brothers life. Heather was just AMAZING.She came to meet with my elder brother and I to go over the service and we knew very quickly that we had the right celebrant for Tony.We had so many friends & family comment to us after the service about how good Heather was and that she was the perfect choice for my brothers send off.Thank you Heather, I'm 150% positive that Tony would have approved of you too.
