Algester Bakery

I very seldom write food reviews but this bakery needs to improve their customer service and quality badly. This morning I ordered what I thought was a value-for-money Vietnamese pork roll for a mere $5 and even pay extra dollar to have extra slices of meat. Disappointingly, it was tasteless and had 4 small and surgically-sliced meat. Went back to complain about it and the owners rudely responded “You want more meat, you pay $8!” If only they served quality product and good attitude, I wouldn’t mind paying extra at all. I’m not at all surprised why this establishment feels so gloomy and sad - there’s not a lot to be cheerful about with their products and customer service.

I bought a celebration cake and it presented lovely and tasted great.

Rude customer service and the pies are awful! They are just full of gelatin! barley any meat! My pie was basically see through! GROSS!

Probably the rudest customer service ever and she seems like she hates her life or something and clearly just doesn’t wanna be there. She also seems to not understand much English.

Honestly THE worst pie I’ve ever eaten.Bacon, cheese and steak pie - had about, 3-4 pieces of shredded cheese melted on top, they’re actually not even trying. Barely any bacon or steak in whatever their ‘mystery slop’ sauce they used. Week past expiry milk in the fridge too.Honestly this bakery going out of business would be a mercy to the local residents.

Rudest behaviour. Went to get some bread this morning and the women who served was so rude and have no idea of customer service, Ridiculous. Won’t go there again

Terrible customer service from the lady behind the counter. Seems like the grumpiest person on the planet.
