The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion
Lots to learn about other religion.Really inspiring to see the prayers embedded outside the temple.Cafe is also fantastic. The ambiance and the silence when having your coffee right outside the the cafe, overlooking the temple is just incomparable. The only improvement I can say is I hope the renovations in the temple gets finished soon as it takes away the authenticity and the mood inside.

A lovely peaceful garden and temple to visit. The site is dog friendly, except for the cafe, but there are outdoor tables and chairs to sit at. Dogs are permitted to enter the temple. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

You can enjoy looking and walking around the big area of land. Its a very diverse place and the staff will guide and help you if you need it. At the start of you tour you can watch a 6 minute video that explains how The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion was built, what you can do there and more!

I had the most enchanting visit. The future vision for this Stupa is amazing. The gardens honour other belief systems which I find quite beautiful. The Stupa itself is incredible. Our guide was very informative and well versed in the information regarding the Stupa. All of this and all they ask for is a donation. Please give what you can to allow this amazing place to continue their gift to humanity.

The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion
Wondrous place, respectful and inviting for all, with beautiful indoor and outdoor displays of Buddhist artefacts and designs, as well as other religions (in the garden). Slowly evolving and changing over time.Visits are free, donations are encouraged but not mandatory. Nice place for the entire family to visit.I recommend ~2 hours to enjoy it, but you can rush it in 30 minutes as well.

The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion
The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Bendigo is an astounding and remarkable place that serves as a captivating introduction to Tibetan Buddhism. It stands as the largest stupa in the Southern Hemisphere, a testament to the vision of Lama Yeshe, Lama Zopa, and the countless individuals who contributed to its creation.Nestled within the peaceful surroundings of the Peace Park, this sacred site holds significance for multiple religions. Statues and symbols representing Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and more grace the park, fostering a sense of unity and providing a space for peaceful encounters. Of particular note is the touching San Francesco D'Assisi statue, who deeply moved the two lamas with its timeless message of the Preghiera Semplice" (Simple Prayer). The sheer size and magnificence of the Stupa are awe-inspiring. It exudes a sense of holiness and reverence. Inside

This is a temple outside of Bendigo , it seems to be a commemorable ground where they plant trees in memory.I believe it's a growing process and in years to come this place will have fully grown beautiful gardens. I believe the barrels hold ashes ⚱️ And by spending them celebrates their life
