Like most who have made the difficult decision to take your pet to the vet for the last time, you can never really be ready for the impact going home alone will have.The staff at Sylvania Veterinary Hospital made it as easy as possible from the first call, the visit, the procedure and now days later have helped us close the chapter. Their care and empathy towards our pets and us is first class.I would never take a pet anywhere else.

Use to be a great Vet. It seems to have been bought out. It now is not as good. Just feel it is very expensive now. All the good vets are gone.So expensive. such a shame as it was really good once upon a time

We took our dog 13 year old dog here as she wasn’t doing well and they were too busy saying she was old and overweight to look at her properly and we left there feeling there was nothing we could do for her. She spent the next 24 hours suffering so we took her to the animal hospital to give her oxygen and prepare to say goodbye when they did a full check over and found a tick on her foot right next to where this vet had clipped her nails the previous day. We will not be returning to this vet after their lack of caring has left our dog in intensive care and she went through tremendous suffering she did not have to go through had they done their job properly.

We have been taking our fur baby here for 10 years. Dr Charlie and her team are professional, patient and caring. Alex, in particular, was wonderful with our baby today giving him lots of snuggles and easing his anxiety. Thank you for looking after our family!

Very professional Vet, who really care about your pet's well being, very thorough, can be a little pricey at times, but as it's done for your pets care, it's acceptable.

Very competent and genuinely caring, IMO. For whatever good (usually emergency) reason they do seem to overrun and that's based on a few visits over the years. It's best to allow for a good extra 30 minutes. Parking has always been easy.

We went to Sylvania veterinary hospital last Thursday to adopt a kitten.We receieved the best service by the very friendly and helpful staff.Vanessa told us all the things we needed to know and was very helpful.Our new little kitten is a real delight to all of us and is so good.

We had to say goodbye to our fur baby. I've never had to euthanise a pet, let alone a dog that has been a part of our family for over 13 years. Both vets we saw didn't seem to have any empathy (like zero emotion or expression) when he was sick and while being euthanised. After our boy died and we were standing and waiting for them to take him away, they just left him there. The receptionist eventually came into the room with an Eftpos machine which she proceeded to hold over his dead body for me to tap & pay!!

Such an amazing veterinary practice. Every single time my dog has an issue and we can’t get into our usual vet, this clinic never fails to treat my dog to the highest of standards giving thorough explanations of the issue and explicit after care instructions. Never had a problem with this vet HIGHLY recommended
