DO NOT GO HERE! Dodgy as anything. Seems as if the only way to get their attention is via a bad review.I've had nothing but trouble, pushy reception, the doctor mixing up patients, taking personal call and delivery during an expensive appointment THEN sending my GP a report with the wrong patient details and information about the patient for half the report. Who knows who has my details. They had the gall to request a follow-up appointment. Have sent emails and my GP has attempted to contact them multiple times with no success.I posted a previous negative review, received a call from the manager and sorted out the issues promptly.

The idea for the service is great and the provider was competent however it has been very frustrating dealing with HelloDoc Admin - the results were not sent to the right GP, medicare details were not taken into account and it has been difficult to simply get the receipts for payment of these very expensive services - in the end HelloDoc Admin didn't resolve these issues and we were left chasing the results between GPs, having to ask repeatedly for receipts and having to sort out the reimbursement being sent to a child instead of the parent paying for the services. In future I would look for other services to avoid dealing with HelloDoc on these issues.

Been a patient at service for last 18 months. Attended 7 or 8 appointments so far due to complex situation but have been supported well by the psychiatrist and staff. Glad to write such review after a lengthy period with the service and psychiatrist who goes above and beyond their role to help people.Disheartening to see some people leaving negative comments and loosing temper for smallest thing. Clearly they are unhappy for the fee which is always told upfront on the phone so whats the big drama?Sorry but one must support someone who is doing the right thing. I know how other services are not taking any patients and almost 20 psychiatrists rejected my referral for over an year when hellodoc took it on.

Extremely thankful for HelloDoc for sorting out appointment for me. Been on wait list with two services for 4 months and didnt hear back, whereas got appointment with hellodoc within 4 days after sending referral.They charge private fee and they dont bulk bill which was clearly advised to me and i am very satisfied with the thorough assessment done by my psychiatrist at hellodoc. Would definitely recommend the service

Extremely frustrating service to use and I hate that now I'm $1500+ in the hole with them that I'm effectively stuck or else I have to start over with another service and go through the expense and wait times again.The doctor promised me multiple times I would not be charged for the third appointment and to raise it with the reception. When I did they were rude, dismissive, unhelpful and ambiguous as to whether I would be charged. Guess what? Haha, they of course charged me. The doctor then said on the third appointment that he was sorry and to contact him privately for my next appointment as he was leaving Hellodoc. Well 9 months later I did that and his private office directed me back to Hellodoc because he actually never left them.The website says you can make a booking via email, so you do that, and they reply saying to call them. You call them and it just starts this rapid fire non-stop message of generic information with no indication of how long it will be before anyone will answer. This message loops on repeat and says that if you can't wait on the phone you can email them...They also require a referral for any follow up appointment as if you couldn't possibly have any idea whether you need to see a psychiatrist or not without a GP telling you before every single appointment. I just need to change my medication from one thing to the other, which I've done before, so why do I need to talk to a GP about that first? They don't have the authority to change the prescription. All they're going to do is say ok I will write you a referral". Hellodoc are clogging up the system by requiring these unnecessary hoops to jump through.I will strongly recommend anyone and everyone avoid HelloDoc with my last dying breath. Absolutely abysmal. They will aggravate your mental health condition just through trying to deal with them."

Just came to support and write review for HelloDoc. I am a GP and have been struggling to find psychiatrists to refer my patients to. Either psychiatrists were not accepting patients or had a long waiting list. This was even difficult for conditions like ADHD which is much needed area and hardly any psychiatrists accepting new patients.I have referred many patients in last few months and have had excellent feedback from my patients. Telehealth has assisted and psychiatrists at HelloDoc are doing excellent job. Keep up the good work guys.

My wife used the HelloDoc service and, in my opinion, do your research, read the other reviews, and put your running shoes on. After wasting valuable time sorting things out and being slammed with wildly unreasonable floating costs totalling upwards of $1800+, we did a quick search and found elsewhere for $880. This included psych evaluation + report + guidance through the process.After writing an honest review, where she highlighted the positive and the negative, she got threatened with lawyers.

I had a referral to see a local psychiatrist but the wait was 6 months. I sent through my referral to hellodoc and had an appointment with a really lovely Australian psychiatrist within 2 weeks. I needed 3 appointments all up for a full assessment, and all could be booked within a week or two. Yes, it was expensive, but I had reached the end of my Medicare Safety Net so got most back. I was more than happy to pay to see a psychiatrist straight away than wait for 6 months.

I was a little concerned when I read the bad reviews, but I had already booked an appointment so I went ahead with it and in my opinion they are absolutely fine. I was able to get an appointment quickly, the psychiatrist was pleasant and thorough, and the whole process was completed and I received my ADHD diagnosis in a fraction of the time it would have taken to get an appointment at another clinic.My only complaint is that it was quite expensive, but they were upfront about the cost involved and there were no surprises. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this service if you need treatment and are not able to wait for several months for an appointment, which seems to be the norm for most clinics.

Came across the negative reviews on HelloDoc and would love to add my two cents after using the service recently.I do not agree with the negative reviews, based on my own experience. Having had an ADHD assessment done by Hellodoc, i was explained about the fee and the possibility of requiring two or more appointments as ADHD is a complex assessment.I was send detailed written information as they do send it to all patients. Their fee was advised on the phone well and all my appointments have been having rebates from Medicare.Not sure why these fake reviews are coming. Possibly by a competitor?I am personally very happy with Hellodoc and would recommend to anyone requiring an appointment with psychiatrist to avoid 6-12 months waiting time.
