I’ve been getting service and repairs here for a few years now and I cannot recommend them enough. They’re honest, reliable, well priced, and even resolved a complex issue that several mechanics weren’t able to figure out. Ian, Cindy and Tecia are always very helpful and excellent to deal with.

THE most reliable, professional and honest mechanics. We have used Ian and his company for more years than I can remember, and have always had a great experience. All of our family take their cars to Precision and couldn’t be happier.

He told me that the arrangement would cost me at least $ 2.5K and he didn't even know if it would look good. He gave me a diagnosis without even looking at the engine. I consulted with another mechanic and he told me that the part that they had told me to change here was in perfect condition. Finally, It was finally a minor problem and I paid around $ 500. Now I understand that they just wanted to get money from me. I recommend consulting other mechanics and skip this place.

Hyundai diagnosed that the Transfer Case in our 2013 Santa Fe was unserviceable and required replacing, at the minimum cost of $8900!Precision was recommended to us from a friend as his dealings with them over a number of years was more than satisfactory.On visiting Ian at Precision, he tested the vehicle and determined that the Transfer Case was malfunctioning however would not be able to provide an accurate assessment of cost until it had been removed and inspected, an estimate was circa $7000 if the transfer case was to be replaced. Much better than the previous estimate from Hyundai.Ian undertook the work and discovered that the only component that required replacement was the Diff Housing (along with mandatory bearings etc). Total cost of repair was $5150, which still sounds a lot but much better than Hyundai... Would Hyundai have diagnosed the problem efficiently and only charged for the work that was required for a full replacement. I will never know, but what I do know was that Hyundai would NOT discuss this issue with me, even a polite email to the Australian CEO went unanswered.Would I recommend Precision, absolutely, the work was first class, the communication and customer relations was superb and the repair came in significantly under the estimate.

Where do I start, I have been dealing with these guys for a very long time now and I can't speak highly enough about them, very honest and have a brilliant phone manner. I send my own customers to them as they do the right thing by them every time. Highly Recommend!

First time customer. I made contact with Ian and his team on getting a replacement clutch and flywheel fitted to my 2014 Holden Colorado ute. I got a fair estimation of cost including labor. Ian was very helpful and advised me every step of the way, which included a bit more time and labor on the job, as there was an issue in removing the flywheel. A very easy and totally professional experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am an auto electrician and understand the industry very well. I also have a high expectation when getting work done by other tradesman. If you want a top notch professional job done, go and see Ian and the team.

Wow absolutely amazing crew from start to finish very professional n courteous

Took my Patrol there after (what I thought at the time) was an issue with her transmission. They looked over her, and quoted me $6k - $7k to rebuild the transmission. I walked out with an $800 bill for a “transmission flush” and my car was WORSE than when I took her there.Got a second opinion from another transmission place. Turns out, it was a faulty wire with the speedo as to why she wasn’t changing gears… $150 fix. Nothing was wrong with my transmission.They’re cheeky, I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Shocked they’re still in business if I’m honest.
