Maestral Seafood Restaurant
This is a local, family run restaurant. Definitely recommend booking a table if you’re planning on dining in.This was my first time having Croatian food. If you like seafood, you’ll love this place. I loved the open kitchen and lively atmosphere. The food was good but there wasn’t any dish that stood out to me in particular. I probably wouldn’t go back a second time but I would recommend that you try it at least once.

We felt unwelcome when arrived because the staff claimed we didn't make a booking which wasn't true. It's our Anniversary date and we mentioned to one of the staff, she was expressionless, so rude! Later my husband gave them the proof of calls for 4 times and they found out the staff booked us in made a mistake and put us on a wrong date!Anyway, the dishes were just ok. We ordered grilled oysters as entree; and 3 mains: Seafood Chowder lots of seafood bites (tiny), Mediterranean mixed seafood (watery sauce like soup), and Beef & Moreton Bug.Sadly to say, the whole meal only the Moreton bug is tasty. And I don't know why they have such a good comment, regardless of their services.I'm a seafood lover and travel around the world and I love the seafood of Tasmania and Gold coast.

The dining experience Maestral Seafood was pleasant and warm. The seafood was extremely fresh overall and the dishes were plated beautifully.Pricier than other restaurants in the area but I think the food was worth it.The seafood risotto and Maestral oyster were our favourites. The kingfish looked plain at first but it was cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. The only thing we could fault was the prosciutto on the scallops being overwhelmingly salty but the scallop itself was great. I will definitely come back.

Great food and great service!! We loved it!We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing. The octopus was tender and soft, I love the bugs and it was also very generous servings. They do BYO so bring a wine if you want. We will definitely come back here again.

Visiting from interstate, ordered a seafood platter for one and was not disappointed. The grilled fish had great marinate and cooked perfectly. The calamari was lightly battered and cooked in fresh oil. The ambience felt like a home cooked meal and the staff are very welcoming

Maestral Seafood Restaurant
What a great experience. It's taken us probably 7 years to visit, we've lived in the area and walked past a bunch of times. We had the hot and cold seafood platter which was pricey but worth every cent. Yummo. Lovely staff too. Chargrilled seafood to perfection and can't fault any aspect of the meal.It's BYO wine or beer with a corkage charge per person ($2.50).
