We needed a spot to have a Christmas beer with the father in law. Whenever we see him in the home he wants to go for a drive.This fitted the bill perfectly.

Lovely spot to stop, stretch your legs and take a break if you have been behind the wheel for awhile.Very small quiet little town, not much to see aside from the beautiful homes, mother nature in all her glory, and even the odd kangaroo here or there.You'll find a small undercover bench and seats, may be a tap/drinking fountain.But you'll have to drive on to the next small town if your after some road trip snacks.**Watch your speed** when travelling through Houghton, and it's neighboring small towns, as the local police like to sit just out of sight, ready and waiting to pounce on the next leadfoot coming up from the city.
