The man that owns this cafe was so rude.I get it. Everyone has a bad day, maybe busy, stuff going on in life. But customer service still has to good. Especially running a small business. Maybe he doesn t like non locals.To be rude to an 8 year old child was shocking. My son was brave enough to go up to the counter in a pretty busy adult environment and ask for a bag for his left over doughnut. The guy told him straight. We don t have bags. He did not engage in why or what type of bag. Common sense would tell you it was for a take out.I went in a few minutes later and I asked the girl this time if they had bags. She looked at me and her boss before saying no.So I said you just gave me a paper bag for my other food? Then she handed me the paper bag. Its like a 1c bag. I then asked the barista/owner, why he did not give my child a bag, why he did not engage in a conversation with the young customer, and if he had children.His responses were rude and his apology pathetic.Food was slow to come outand overpriced.Coffee was good but I wouldn t visit again.

Love this place! Been coming here for years. The staff are lovely, food is delicious, fast service and very nice coffee. The chicken toastie is my favourite thing on the menu (and can be made into a wrap as a good ‘to-go’ option).My favourite place to eat in Galston !

This review is only principle related, nothing to do with their menu or quality. I politely asked to use the public bathroom which was across the arcade from their cafe as i was busting and they controlled the key for it.However they said I needed to be one of their customers in order to use it. Didn’t appreciate their un-Australian attitude of making me pay to use a toilet.Didn’t look at their menu, however I wouldn’t be surprised if they also had a surcharge to breathe oxygen whilst seated.The bathroom was very clean, which deserves at least 2 stars

We went during the pandemic. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered two dishes for a brunch session out, the chunky avocado with dukkah and Persian fetta & lemon was really fresh and good portion! The other dish dish was the coconut milk, fig & granola - it was full of great fresh ingredients and they were very generous with the dried figs!Drinks we got the mango & berries fruit drink which was made with real fruit!

Arrived at this cafe on Saturday after doing a cycle. Get a can of coke from the fridge and opened it, went to the register to pay and was charged $5.00. Very expensive for a can.Not happy with this and will not be back.

My family had Mother's Day lunch there last weekend. Great experience, great service, great atmosphere, great food. Will definitely go back there whenever we're in the area.

UPDATE: These guys are great and still going strong - doing better than a lot of marriages - Even after 7 or 8 years they've not let the quality of service and food drop.Great local, great collective.

We've been here a few times now and never had an issue. Dog friendly, with a water bowl for the dogs. Food is always delicious and comes out quickly. Good coffee too, along with other drinks. Good for takeway or to eat in, definitely recommended.
