Sahara Moroccan Casbah
Came here on a whim (well, somewhat, you need to book with 24hours notice) and it was definitely a good decision. Some of the best Moroccan food I've had outside Morocco, with beautiful and authentic decor. Out host for the night (Ali) was wonderful and brought us a beautiful banquet that left us satisfied and in awe at the lovely food. Finishing up we had some delicious mint tea. The restaurant itself is in the back room of the storefront, and is quiet, beautifully lit, and warm.I cannot reccomend Sahara highly enough, you won't be disappointed. Although we didn't have any, they were willing to accommodate any dietary requirements.

Came here with my cousin and great aunt, it's a very cozy place. Ali was so welcoming and seemed proud to be sharing authentic food and his culture with us.Food was amazing - even if the flavours didn't seem that they would work well when he explained the dish, it didn't matter. Chicken, icing sugar and cinnamon? No problem.10/10 would recommend and come back again.

Had a great birthday dinner there. Food is amazing, atmosphere is super cozy, feel that we are teleported to Moroccan. Ali is a great host and super friendly and humble. A great experience, will definitely come again.

Such a lovely place. Ali is super nice and friendly, and he showed us around the shop. He makes beautiful Moroccan tiles, fountains and many more customised furnitures. What a great experience. Will definitely book in advance for meal next time.

What a fantastic restaurant it is!! I have been to Ali’s restaurant about 5 times in a year. Most of the dishes are required to cook overnight, so reservations have to be made at least 24 hours in advance (very important!!). Walking in is not an option. This place is a hidden gem. Ali’s food is not just delicious but also unique, from homemade bread, Moroccan tagine, homemade juice to mint tea. It was an exceptional dinning experience I have ever had in Adelaide. Highly recommended!! Vegetarian dishes are available, too!

Delicious and authentic Moroccan food in very Moroccan surroundings. Could've easily pretended I was back in the country. Ali was an amazing host and very talented at cooking and building decorative pieces that are displayed inside his front shop and in his back restaurant.

The best food I’ve ever had in Adelaide. It’s definitely the highlight of my trip in Adelaide and I’m so glad that I can make it here before I leave. Ali is so nice and welcoming, also a good chef! It’s no menu so be prepared to get surprised by the food you’ll get. He also has many traditional Moroccan collections here and they’re all very cute. Highly recommended!!!
