O2 Dance Studios

Im a cheapo so better get the deals in groupon if u wanna try their class and u ll make urself dance for more. Otherwise the dancefloor are quite big although the participants are not limited so u might find urself in a crowded class from time to time

Great place to learn where to dance. The teachers are great and the staff are so nice! Always after school/work and casual so it's not an obligation! All in all, a really good studio, would recommend!

I’m in Melbourne for a month- and attended 6 classes with o2 during my stay.Nak was my favorite!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For him!! I attended 2 of his tuesday classes on my first try, i loved it so much i wanted to back. But the other classes i attended after were quite disappointing - jazz classes on 27 & 30 of August -they were continuing choreography from the week prior, which i, along with other people, didn’t know of so we couldnt dance along. It wouldve been helpful if the booking system indicated whether the week’s class will be a continuation of the week before so people who didn’t come wouldnt waste their time hanging around a class they can’t dance along to! I think its such a waste of time and money coming to such classes! - Samantha

ive been goin to o2 for about 8 months now and im so happy i take kristies class and shes so kind. everyone is so welcoming no matter what skill level would 100% recommend going to o2

Great class but not that accessible for a beginner - felt more like a beg/inter. The pacing was a little fast (not too much) but the class had a fair number of students who were not that “beginner” and were able to keep with the pace and catch the steps the first go.If you can open up a couple of absolutely beginner classes, it would be more accessible :)An additional suggestion would be to maybe add one Bollywood class? Or even a bolly/hip hop fusion would be good. There’s a huge Indian diaspora living near the city that would absolutely love it!

O2 is a good and high energy studio with great classes, engaging teachers and sweet dance movers

Amazing place to learn dance! Friendly staff and teachers were funny. The feel of the place was pretty cool too (warehouse feel) but the studios themselves were modern/new feel and had great mirror coverage.

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Great choices of dance classes including, Hip hop, Choreography, K-Pop, house and New Jazz all with Melbourne's top Choreographers and dancers. Must be Fully-Vaxxed and checked in with mandatory masks when indoors and not dancing. Come and try for yourself with class passes. Fun way to meet new friends & exercise!

I like this place and the teachers are obviously quite talented so I hate to give it 1 star but this review is for their beginner classes. The beginner classes simply aren't for beginners. Way, way too difficult for someone starting out and the teachers don't seem to pay too much attention if someone isn't keeping up. They only seem to be interested in the people who are obviously already experienced and act like waiting for beginner dancers would be a chore. For this reason I can't recommend O2 for beginners but I'm sure it would be great for more experienced dancers.
