These have been a fantastic tool to help my Autistic 10 year old nephew learn and explain his emotions and how to deal with social situations!The quality of the cards is amazing and the downloadable activity kit is super easy to use and print off!

The resources from My Learning Toolbox exceeded my expectations. I bought both the Finger Tracing Calming Cards and Zones of Feelings cards for my daughter. They've been so helpful in teaching regulation skills to her. She actually asks to use them! Keep the awesome resources coming!

As an Educator with a Masters in Gifted Education, as well as a parent I cannot recommend the resources from My Learning Toolbox highly enough. In a time where social/emotional learning has now been proven by research to be critical in the cognitive development of our children we need to make space for it. I have been using the Finger Tracing Calming Cards and the My Zones of Feelings in my classroom to assist students with self regulation and communication regarding their feelings. These resources have been designed with intent, noting their muted soft colours, simple instructions and easy application which are all necessary when children find themselves in a heightened state - so easy to use!

I love using my Learning Toolbox resources in the classroom! Visually, they appeal to my students which helps them comprehend topics such as the Zones of Regulation but also makes the learning enjoyable. I have been able to use these amazing resources as a whole class, in small groups and with individual students which has been fantastic. Given all the strategies and resources are evidence based, it’s been hugely helpful for emotional regulation in particular and I’ve noticed many students using many strategies throughout the day. I highly recommend my Learning Toolbox for any teachers out there!

What a great little enterprise focused on making things better in the little people's learning space. Loved the tracing cards they recently came up with. My 5 year old niece and 3 year old nephew absolutely love their calming cards!! These work wonders for my nephew who has a very short attention span normally. It keeps their little brain occupied and challenged!! Amazing product :)

Drawing on my background in education, I would highly recommend the resources on 'My Learning Toolbox' to parents and educators, especially (but not limited to) those with children in the primary sector. The evidence-based resources have been thoughtfully and creatively developed to support social and emotional learning and, in turn, improve children’s overall application to learning. There would be many ways to appropriate and integrate these resources within classrooms or in one’s daily routines at home.My four-year-old grandson uses the 'Finger Tracing Calming Cards' and 'My Zones of Feelings' cards regularly. When he feels overwhelmed or anxious, he finds a quiet spot and uses his finger-tracing cards to assist him to become more relaxed and focused. He particularly loves the wonderful flowing shapes and intricacies of the card illustrations. Further, the cards can also provide excellent precursory practices to assist with the development of hand-writing skills.As a family, we use the Zones of Feelings Calming Cards during dinnertime conversation to help us to describe situations that have occurred during our day, and our feelings and reactions to these occurrences. This greatly assists my grandson to unpack and share the feelings he experienced and the ways in which he responded to the situation at the time. This is especially helpful when he has encountered something unexpected or out of his control. The reflective questions pertaining to each feeling enable us to model and discuss appropriate strategies to deal with 'big' feelings and the overwhelming moments that may occur during any day.My Learning Toolbox is a valuable and much-needed resource with an extensive range of applications to assist teaching and learning at home and at school.Liz Fynes-Clinton
