Margaret was a great help when buying a boot and blade combination. I had tried other stores that were far to keen to sell me a boot way above my skill level.Margaret is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dont waste your time with other stores, see Margaret at i State Canterbury.

Stephanie was great with helping me with buying my first pair of skates. She was very knowledgeable and patient with explaining to me what skates are the best for my level, and was happy to answer any questions that I had. Thanks for a pleasant experience!

Highly recommend this place. Stephanie was a gem, very friendly and approachable such a pleasure to deal with, she makes my lil one and I (who don't know much about ice skating) comfortable by explaining about the figure skating shoes with extra tips and info on how to care for them. Margaret also kindly helped us, we are happy customer today coming home with our brand new jackson mystique skates.

Thank you to Iskate Canterbury for sorting out our ice skates. Margaret went above and beyond (including past closing time) to make sure our fit was right. We always buy our skates here and we love them. Very happy customers!!!-Pam & Claudia

Extremely disappointing and excessively experience. Avoid this shop and go somewhere else. Bought figure skates and paid over $100 more than other Sydney ice skate shops. Also, a very poor quality sharpening service so I had to pay to have my skates sharpened correctly elsewhere. Plus, skates bought for my child were fitted incorrectly and they wouldn’t accept a return. The owner is moody and seems disinterested. I won’t be going back the iSkate Shop at Canterbury Ice Rink, which is a shame because it’s a great rink to skate at, but skip the skate shop.

WARNING: They have a fitting fee of $50 if they help you try on boots and you don't end up purchasing from them. If you keep the receipt and end up buying from them within a month that $50 is credited to the cost of the boot, but from the models I was looking at, Ice monster is at least $50 cheaper anyways, and no fitting fee.I was really frustrated because I only got told about this fitting fee as I was already trying on boots, and I stupidly just paid it without thinking too much of it until I thought about how unreasonable it was aftewards. Afterwards I noticed a sign stating this fee, but I feel like it is not obvious at all. From my knowledge, Bladeworx in Melbourne and Ice monster do not have this fee.The staff here are knowledgeable but I do get the vibe that they are really trying to make money off you rather than make suggestions for your benefit. E.g, Ice Monster has socks you can borrow, iSkate only has socks you can buy to use to try on skates. Ice monster recommended me a cheaper boot, iSkate recommended me a model up ($130 price difference)
