Gourmet Shin

One of the most special evenings I have had in such a long time, in the comfort of our home! We had Shin and his wife Candice come and deliver the most special dining experience ever! Everything was so carefully thought out, from the gorgeous table setting and decorations to the presentation of the food. I have been to many Japanese restaurants before but having Chef Shin come and cook for us has to be by far my most favourite! The food is sensational, every dish was a masterpiece! I can’t express enough how amazing everything tasted! We ordered the premium menu and it was out of this world! The company, the laughs, the vibe was on point! What really made it special was how close my dining table was to the kitchen, and were able to talk to him and Candice throughout the evening and watching him cook was so special. I 100% can't wait to have Chef Shin and Candice back in my home again. Thank you for a wonderful night!

What an amazing experience! Everything was so perfect. The ingredients were so fresh, the table scape was so beautiful and every course was so yummy. The most important thing is that we can provide a decent treat to our guests without any hassle. Everything is taken care and considered perfectly by Shin & Candice. Highly recommend.

Everything was sooo perfect! Wonderful private sushi dinning experiences. Chef Shin and Candice delivered an amazing Japanese cuisine dinner, fresh ingredients, spectacular foods, beautiful presentation, fantastic experiences! I booked Gourmet Shin for a home omakase meal in January 2022 and had an incredible experience. We chose the premium menu which was well worth it if you enjoy toro and uni. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Shin and Candice took care of everything and the kitchen was left spotless after the meal. Highly recommended!!

I am so glad to have Chef Shin and Candice; they made a very special night for me and my friends. I am a sushi lover, and Shin’s sushi and sashimi are on my top list especially the uni and caviar hand roll was full of flavor. It’ a wonderful experience and definitely will do it again.

I recently attended a sushi making class with Gourmet Shin and had a fun experience! Chef Shin and Candice were great instructors, providing clear instructions and sharing their deep knowledge of sushi. The class was engaging and interactive.. The ingredients provided were fresh and high-quality, resulting in delicious sushi creations which I inhaled. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in learning the art of sushi-making. Thank you Shin and Candice for such a memorable and special Mother's Day celebration for my girlfriends and myself. It was so special being able to have such a wonderful experience with our kids and husbands with zero effort from us as you did all the work!!!. The table setting was stunning, and you delivered exceptional plates and platters for us to enjoy. We loved the confit yolk maki, the hand rolled temaki. And wow the three stunning sashimi platters, each so different, for each couple to enjoy was a feast for the eyes! We are already looking forward to our next experience with you!
