Taste of Texas BBQ
Nice little place for an evening bite if looking for something meaty. Staff were friendly, food came out after a short while, served in paper boxes and disposable utensils (seems more set up to cater for takeaway). Meat was cooked ok although not exactly falling off the bone, fried chicken tasted fresh but found myself dunking it in sauce and sipping drink as a little dry. Had to pay extra for dipping sauce - we got blue cheese sauce - tasted good but very small container and wasn't enough. The cheese balls were the highlight.

Not worth it. Brisket was more like roast beef, ribs don't even fall off the bone like it should...Edited: If you are experienced at cooking meat then there's no way your meat could be this hard.I recommend anyone getting BBQ to try somewhere else after lockdown because if you think this is good... well, you haven't tried Surly's or 2 smoking arabs.

Fantastic food. A range of different menu items at different price points. You get so. Much. Food. We all left waddling back to the car.Not many space to seat inside so I would recommend to call ahead to book or get there early. Popular for take out too.

Well we have tried. We have been in this place 2yrs ago and had a bad experience. 2yrs algo they ran out of food (ribs) and it wasn’t even 7pm at that day. Also the delay to prepare and deliver the food after 2yrs still there. We ordered from Menulog and the app was showing that our food would be ready by 7.18pm. We understand that is pretty normal to arrive on time and wait for about 5 to 10 minutes, however it was not the case again. We arrived on time and once we identified ourselves we heard that they were about to start preparing our food. Conclusion, food was no great taste wise, ribs were hard to bite and we end up waiting til 7.40pm to leave the place. This place is the only American BBQ style within the area. It could have a huge potential to grow but apparently it is in its nature to let customers down. We have tried.

As a visitor to Sydney I'm yet to be disappointed with any restaurant I've been to. This American BBQ is no exception. I had the brisket burger and it was really good and tasty. Next time I'm here I will try the fries and pulled pork.Would definitely come back.

I used to rank Taste of Texas in my top 5 in Sydney, but I believe the owners have changed from their original owners. Brisket was dry... atmosphere and service were fantastic. The Apple pie pieces were amazing but a BBQ place with dry brisket is a no no for me...

Ordered the platter and a few sides, couldn’t finish, absolutely delish, just a very generous serving size. The pork and brisket was on point. Service was fast and friendly. This ain’t fine dining just a great tasting and well priced feed.

I first one to start off my review by saying the only reason this place is not getting the five star is because I tryed many BBQ places in USA CanadaThe staff of Texas BBQ are very nice professional and accomadating. The place is clean and the service was amazing.My Aussie cousins wanted me to try a good BBQ place while on holidays here in SydneyWe ate a lot.Mac cheese bites, fries (chips) onion rings brisket sausage pork beef ribs, coleslaw and chicken wings. Everything tasted good. This is the best you will find in the Sydney area. Thanks again taste of Texas

Taste of Texas BBQ
Cosy atmosphere, tasty smoked meat and not too easy to come by this style of BBQ in Sydney. I did think the meat was a tad on the dry side and prices were a bit dear for the serving size however enjoyed the large assortment of items! Positive experience.
